What do you need to buy for the car. What should be in the car

What do you need to buy for the car. What should be in the car

Even the most reliable cars can break down because the quality of the vehicles rarely matches the quality of the road surfaces. There can be a huge number of reasons for breakdowns or other unforeseen situations, and a motorist must prepare for each of them in advance. For this reason, in today's article we will try to answer the question of what must be in the car while driving.

What can be useful while traveling in your own car?

While traveling by car, even the most pedantic car owner has situations when he needs the simplest tools to change a wheel or help those injured in an accident. Therefore, the prescription from the SDA, indicating the need for mandatory items in the car, is primarily a vital necessity, rather than a rule. It is also worth noting that the list of items specified in the SDA is far from exhaustive, since it only includes:

fire extinguisher;

first aid kit;

Emergency stop sign.

This list can be replenished depending on the condition of the car, how long a trip you have planned on it, and even on what season reigns outside the window. For example, throwing wheel chains into a car trunk in summer will make absolutely no sense, although in winter they can be useful, if not to you, then to other road users. Let's take a closer look at what necessary things for a car a driver should always have at hand.

We study the standard set of a motorist

Having dealt with what should be in the car according to the rules, let's move on to the question of what should be in the car if necessary. In this regard, the new first-aid kit raises a lot of questions, which, according to the order of the Ministry of Health, should contain only bandages, gauze bandages, dressing bags, a tourniquet, scissors and a few other items that are also not medicines.

On the one hand, the logic of the country's chief doctors is understandable: such a composition of the first-aid kit is acceptable for absolutely all drivers who do not have a medical education. But in practice, it turns out that very often, having an anesthetic with them, drivers manage to save the victim in an accident from a pain shock that could take a person’s life even before the ambulance arrives. It is even more illogical for those drivers who themselves suffer from certain diseases and need medicines from time to time to refuse medications.

Important! Despite the prescriptions of traffic rules, it is better to put additional drugs in the first-aid kit that, in your opinion, can save the life of you or other road users injured as a result of an accident.

The same discussions arise among drivers and in relation to the fire extinguisher. The fact is that a standard powder-type fire extinguisher for cars has a charge of only 2 kg, while in practice even a fire extinguisher with a charge of 4 kg is not always enough. For this reason, it is better to have two fire extinguishers in the car so that they really help in a situation of real need.

Which repair tools are the most important on the road

Technical means and tools are not so important on the road, but it will also be useful to always have them at hand, no matter how long the distance you go. Let's analyze the list of such tools and accessories for the car:

1. Wiring is considered the most vulnerable in a car, so it is always important to have additional wires at hand in case of burnout. In particular, we are talking about wires, with the help of which, if necessary, it will be possible to “light up” from another battery.

2. A tow rope that can easily withstand a load of 5 tons or more. To do this, you should choose either a very wide sling or a steel cable, which prove to be the most reliable in operating conditions.

Good to know! Antifreeze also freezes very often, although there are special liquids that remain liquid even at -40 ° C. However, when frozen, it does not expand, but simply crystallizes without damaging other parts of the car.

3. A basic set of tools that can be very extensive. True, it is also not worth carrying the entire garage with you, since this will make the car heavier and leave no space in the trunk. Therefore, it is better to take with you only:

a set of wrenches (or at least a wrench with which you can remove and install battery terminals);

balloon key;

Key for removing candles;

Screwdriver (it is better to have a Phillips and flat screwdriver with you);

Pliers;

A set of heads for unscrewing hard-to-reach nuts.

4. Spare wheel and jack, without which you can hardly install it.

5. Pump. You can choose a foot version, but recently motorists are increasingly preferring a compressor that can be activated from a car cigarette lighter.

6. Antifreeze for the air conditioner. It is desirable that it be of the same brand as that poured into the cooling system.

7. Distilled water in case of "boiling".

8. "Anti-freeze" for the washer, which is difficult to do without in the winter.

Good to know!"Nezzayku" for washers can be done with your own hands. To do this, you can use ordinary vodka (0.5 liters), distilled water (2 liters) and a few drops of dish detergent (to kill the smell of alcohol).

9. A small amount of engine oil that you use in your car.

10. A funnel with which it will be convenient to pour both oil and antifreeze into the system.

11. A set of fuses for your car.

12. Spark plug kit for emergency replacement.

13. Headlight bulbs (it will be superfluous to carry the whole set with you, so put only low beam bulbs in the car).

14. Flashlight. Suitable for both batteries and cigarette lighter, although ideally it is better to have a universal one or two at once.

15. Sandpaper. Although there is no apparent need for it, on older cars it is constantly not enough to clean contacts.

16. Repair gloves and rags.

17. Jackknife.

18. A canister of water, which may be needed for washing license plates from dirt, and just for washing hands.

19. Brush for cleaning glass from snow.

20. A tester that will help you find the place of current leakage in the car's electrical network.

21. A special tool that will help defrost the castle in winter.

Useful little things for the car "on a long journey"

Short trips, if necessary, give the driver and his passengers the opportunity to quickly get home, leaving the car at the scene of the accident and just as quickly return to it with the necessary tools. But if the trip is expected to be long, it is worth taking care of some more useful little things for the car:

1. Gasoline in a canister. This is the most important thing you need to have with you on a long journey, the presence of gas stations on which remains unknown to you. But, in addition to gasoline, it is also worth throwing into the trunk a device for pouring fuel into the tank - a funnel with a socket and a corrugated tube.

2. Old clothes , which can protect you from unforeseen weather conditions and can be useful if urgent repairs are needed (do not stain new clothes in this case).

3. Axe. It is especially important to have it on hand if the trip may take you to rough terrain.

4. Sapper shovel , which is useful in snow and mud.

5. Everything you need to start a fire - paper and special liquid (in case of its absence, gasoline may also be useful).

6. Drinking water.

7. Phone charger and spare phone (make sure that you can connect your phone charger to the cigarette lighter).

8. Insulating tape.

9. Ties for wiring.

With such a set of useful things in the car, you can go on any trip. However, in some cases even this list is insufficient.

What should a woman driver stock up on?

A woman's car is a special story, because women's needs are many times higher than the needs of men. Therefore, a female driver should also take care of the following useful little things for the car:

- drinking water must be mandatory;

Something for a quick snack - chocolate, dried fruits, nuts (it is worth noting that the chewing process calms well and allows you to concentrate in a difficult situation on the road, so men should also remember a snack);

Napkins - as many and different as possible (they are useful for personal hygiene, and in case of a cut, and if necessary, remove stains from clothes);

- the necessary tools for removing and applying a manicure, since in a car the varnish can fall off when you press any button (in addition to the manicure set, it would be useful to take a hand cream);

Gloves - if they are desirable for a men's car, then they are mandatory in a women's car;

Spare tights, and preferably several pairs and different colors at once;

Hygiene products, as well as a toothbrush, paste, deodorant;

A stash is money that you may need very unexpectedly.

Important! In no case can a female driver do without removable shoes, which should always be left in the car. Remember, heels and driving are two incompatible things!

What may be necessary when driving a car in winter?

Winter is a special time for motorists. Rather, it is the most difficult, because all liquids freeze from frost, locks do not open, the engine does not want to work, it is constantly necessary to clean the glass to get good visibility on the road, you need to take care of winter tires, etc. To reduce the number of unpleasant curiosities on the winter road, we recommend taking the following devices and tools with you:

- a shovel, which will be extremely useful in case of strong snowstorms and large snowdrifts on the road;

A small amount of crushed stone and sand will be the best helpers for icing the road surface;

Anti-slip wheel chain (it is especially important to take it with you on a long trip);

Important! Properly use snow chains, as they can cause very rapid tire wear and even cause accidents. Alternatively, you can use plastic tire covers, which perform the same role as the chains.

- warm clothes for yourself and passengers: gloves, a blanket, woolen socks, a heating pad.

Food and hot drinks that are best hidden in a thermos. Take the most satisfying food.

A flashlight, which is especially important to have with you in winter, because at this time of the year the sun goes below the horizon early.

With such a set, you can cope with any breakdown at any distance from the city and in any weather. On any trip, also remember that your safety largely depends on yourself, so choose the most familiar and safe roads for driving.

“What should the car be equipped with? ”- this is the question that every novice car owner asks. When registering a new car, you should know the rules for completing the vehicle for their safe and legitimate operation. In the Russian Federation, standard equipment is provided for all cars.

On public, passenger and freight transport, there should certainly be: a first-aid kit, honey with the necessary set of medicines, a fire extinguisher and a symbol of an emergency threat.

Honey car first aid kit- This is a necessary item in the interior of the car. Any car should be equipped with a first aid kit. The rules for completing medical auto first-aid kits are discussed in the relevant rules.

According to these rules, the devices should include the following pharmaceuticals and preparations:

1. Analgin (or aspirin, as an analogue) as part of 1 package. Analgin has an analgesic, also anti-inflammatory effect. This product is used for all pains, especially effective for headaches, neuralgia, etc. Analgin can be stored for less than 4 years.

2. Hypothermic portable cooling pack, in the amount of 1 piece.

3. A solution of sodium sulfacyl, in the amount of 1 vial.

4. A tourniquet to help stop arterial bleeding. The tourniquet should be with dosed compression, in the amount of 1 piece.

5. Sterile bandage, in the amount of 1 piece.

6. Non-sterile bandage, in the amount of 1 piece.

7. Bandage for dressing stained wounds containing silver nitrate or dioxidine.

8. Antibacterial adhesive plaster, in the amount of 8 pieces.

9. Sterile wipes to stop bleeding (capillary or venous), containing furagin in its composition. In the amount of 3 pieces. Can be changed to powder "Statin", in the amount of 1 piece.

10. Elastic bandage non-sterile, in the amount of 1 piece.

11. A solution of brilliant green or iodine, in the amount of 1 vial

12. Cotton wool honey non-sterile, in the amount of 50 gr

13. Nitroglycerin in pills. This product helps to relieve sharp and stabbing pains in the heart. It is used as well as validol. In the amount of 1 pack

14. Validol in pills or capsules. Helps relieve heart pain. It also has extensive use in angina pectoris, various neuroses. In addition, it is used as an antiemetic. This product should be kept under the tongue until completely absorbed. The shelf life of these pills is less than 3 years. In the first-aid kit, honey should be in the amount of 1 package.

15. A device that helps to carry out artificial respiration, in the amount of 1 piece.

16. Ammonia, in the amount of 1 vial. It is used to bring a person to life, a means of excitation of the breathing process. Use in the following way - drop a small amount on a piece of cotton wool and bring it to the person's nose for a short time.

17. Activated carbon in the amount of 2-3 packs. This honey product is used for disorders of the digestive system, for poisoning, etc. It is taken from the calculation: one pill per kilogram of a person's weight.

18. Corvalol in the amount of 1 vial. Used in stressful situations, helps with heart pain. Use in accordance with the annotation to the product.

19. Scissors, in the amount of 1 piece.

20. Plastic case

You also need to keep in mind that as you use you need to add drugs. In addition, you should definitely watch the expiration date of the drugs. First, before using honey preparations, you need to consult a doctor about the properties of the medicine, and also carefully read the annotation of the product. Remember that the honey kit should always be equipped with the necessary products and tools. Following these usual rules will help you in a difficult situation, you can always rely on your first aid kit.

In addition to the first-aid kit, a car and any other vehicle should be equipped with a fire extinguisher. Now fire extinguishers of various configurations and different parameters are produced. So, for example, there are carbon dioxide, powder and air-foam fire extinguishers. For vehicles, powder and carbon dioxide are considered better. In addition, according to today's requirements, the permissible volume of fire extinguishers for cars is also stipulated. So, a fire extinguisher cannot be less than 2 liters. volume. Many motorists are outraged about the installed volume. They say that this is a lot, and it is embarrassing to carry such fire extinguishers, they say, they take up a lot of space in the car. The following can be said about this. Firstly, such a fire extinguisher does not take up much space, and secondly, in the event of an emergency, in which this device may come in handy, such a volume may even seem small. The fire extinguisher should be within easy reach of the driver, and not lie in the trunk, littered with various objects and tools. The place where a fire extinguisher and a first-aid kit should be placed is set specifically by the car manufacturer. At the same time, a volume of two liters is set for cars, and for heavy vehicles a limit of 5 liters is foreseen. fire. In public transport, it is necessary to have 2 (at least) fire extinguishers, one of which must be placed in the driver's cab, and the other in the passenger compartment within walking distance for passengers.

Compliance with the rules established by law is a guarantee that you can move safely in your own vehicle. The vehicle must be equipped in accordance with the standards listed above.

Every person at least once in his life, while driving a car, faced some kind of unforeseen situation. Today we will talk about what must be in the car. And also about what else you can carry with you.

Standard set

But how, among the multitude of seemingly necessary things, to choose exactly those that are really needed? Let's first decide what should be in the car according to the rules.

The obligatory standard set of a motorist, according to the Rules of the Road, includes: a first-aid kit, an emergency stop sign or a flashing lamp, as well as a fire extinguisher.

Also, the traffic rules stipulate that a first-aid kit and a fire extinguisher must be placed in places with a mount, which is provided by the car manufacturer. If there is no such place in your vehicle, then these items must be placed in an easily accessible place. It is strictly forbidden to place them in a car trunk.

Fire extinguisher

It is a very important attribute in the car. But there are different types of fire extinguishers, each with its own pros and cons. Now let's figure out what kind of fire extinguisher should be in the car.

The most suitable in this case are carbon dioxide or powder fire extinguishers. The capacity of their body must be at least two liters.

The fire extinguisher should be located in the cab next to the driver. That is why it is not allowed to store it in the trunk, as access to it can be difficult.

The carbon dioxide fire extinguisher is a red canister. During operation, carbon dioxide is ejected to a distance of up to two meters in the form of a cloud. The acid evaporates and leaves no residue on transport. Such a fire extinguisher can be stored for a long time, as it does not lose its properties. It has a high penetrating power in hard-to-reach places.

But he also has disadvantages. During use, the bell cools, which can cause burns. That is why you should not keep it in this place. There is a possibility of slight electric shock. When used, a person can inhale carbon dioxide fumes.

A powder fire extinguisher is a crushed mineral salt with additives. They are divided into three types: gas generating, pumping and with a high pressure cylinder.

The first is based on the use of gas energy during the launch to release the extinguishing agent. The second contains an inert gas or pressurized air. In the third, there is a cylinder containing compressed air inside.

first aid kit

Speaking about what must be in the car, you should pay attention to an equally important item - a first aid kit. Decide what should be in the first aid kit of the car.

The list of drugs contained in it is established by the Ministry of Health, which recommends that you have the following drugs: tourniquet, sterile bandage, hemostatic wipes, adhesive plaster, dressing bag, iodine solution, heart and pain medications, nitroglycerin one percent and additional items (scissors with blunt ends, gloves, ventilation valve, pins, instructions and, of course, a medicine case).

But before you buy this important briefcase, make sure that it has not expired. Never store a first aid kit on a shelf near the rear window. In summer, it will be exposed to sunlight and overheat, and in winter it will be vice versa. The best place to place it is at the bottom of the seat.

Documentation

Novice drivers often wonder what documents should be in the car.

Each driver must have a driver's license (license), an insurance certificate, a vehicle registration certificate and a technical inspection coupon. It is better to store documents in the glove compartment: convenient and secure.

Until recently, a power of attorney was also a mandatory document (in the case when you drive someone else's vehicle). Now its presence is optional.

To keep the car healthy

To reduce unforeseen situations, you need to monitor the health of your car. In the arsenal, the driver of the car should have: a jack, a spare tire and a compressor.

The jack that comes with the car upon purchase does not inspire confidence, as it can fail at the most unexpected moment. Although for trips around the city it is quite enough. But for lovers of outdoor recreation and trips out of town, a hydraulic jack will be the most suitable option.

Much easier with a spare tire. It doesn't have to be new. Due to the different grip of the wheels of new and old rubber, when turning and when braking, the car can skid. And do not forget that winter tires should be on the spare tire.

To pump up a tire on the road, you need a compressor. Although manual ones are still used, they are no longer popular, but electric ones are very convenient to use. They inflate the wheel in a few minutes.

Little things that matter too

Speaking on the topic "What must be in the car", we will also tell you about some little things that can help you out even in a difficult situation.

When stuck on the road, I would like to have a tool kit with me, which includes a screwdriver, several keys and pliers. Of the spare parts in the car, there may be candles, fuses and spare bulbs.

When choosing a towing cable, pay attention to the reliability of fastening and carabiner.

Lighting wires can also come in handy, as well as a brush and a scraper that will help you out in winter when cleaning windows from ice and snow from the car in general.

Even with minor repairs, there is a high probability of getting dirty, so you can carry old unnecessary clothes and gloves in the trunk.

If the driver is a girl...

Driving a car is driven not only by men, but also by the fair sex. But what must be in the car of a young lady, we will consider below.

If you wear heels, be sure to bring a change of shoes without a heel. It is useful for minor repairs, as well as if the legs are tired.

Always carry a change of tights in the car and an umbrella in case of rain, which will save your look in bad weather.

It will be useful to purchase a road map in case of a long trip. Car charger for the phone is also a very important attribute in a woman's car.

If you are still an inexperienced driver, then it is better to load the car to the maximum. Over time, becoming a more experienced "driver", half of the things can be unloaded from the car.

Having considered what must be in the car, I would like to say that it is impossible to take everything. Exactly the same as predicting trouble. Knowing exactly what you need to take with you comes with precious experience. Only then will you, leaving the superfluous, take the most necessary.

Good luck on the road, driver!

Do you want to take a test on the materials of the article after reading it?

YesNo

Going on a trip in your own car, especially if you plan to travel long distances, you need to make sure that the trunk and interior are equipped with everything that should be in the car. Even if the reliability of the car leaves no doubt, the Russian highways cannot boast of the same, so troubles happen along the way. And it is better to be as prepared as possible for the surprises that often arise when traveling by car.

Mandatory list of documents

According to the traffic rules as amended on July 25, 2017, the driver is obliged to constantly carry with him and present to the traffic police inspectors at their request the following documents:

  1. Driver's license or temporary permit for the right to drive a car.
  2. Vehicle registration certificate (plus for a trailer, if any);
  3. If the driver going on a trip is disabled, then, in addition to the “Disabled” sign on his car, you need a document confirming that this disability has been established for him.
  4. Insurance policy (OSAGO).

List of items required by traffic rules

The rules of the road, or rather the appendix to them: "List of faults ...", section 7, paragraph 7.7, provide for the necessary list of items that must necessarily and constantly be in the car. It is forbidden to operate the vehicle without them, namely:

  • fire extinguisher;
  • first aid kit;
  • triangular sign used during an accident stop.

By order of the Ministry of Health, a first-aid kit for a car must contain gauze bandages, various bandages, a tourniquet to stop blood, scissors, dressing bags, adhesive plasters, mouth-device-mouth artificial respiration devices, and medical gloves. All medicines from the first aid kit were removed.

However, the content of additional drugs is quite acceptable. It already depends on the need for them for each motorist. For example, a first aid kit can be supplemented with blood-stopping and antiseptic drugs, as well as painkillers to protect the victim from pain shock. Also, it will not be superfluous to have medicines in the first-aid kit that are necessary if the owner of the car has chronic diseases. In this case, it is necessary to observe the conditions for storing medicines.

Regarding the fire extinguisher among car owners, disputes periodically arise. If in an accident you have to use a standard two-kilogram powder fire extinguisher, then its volume is basically not enough. Therefore, it will not be superfluous to place another fire extinguisher in the trunk and the desired larger volume.

Necessary items for traveling by car

The various tools needed during a minor repair are just as important on the list of everything that should be in a car.

No one is insured against a car breakdown for any duration of the trip, so having a further list of the necessary tools and necessary accessories on the road will be very useful:

  1. The main set of tools, which includes: a key used in the installation of candles; several wrenches for nuts of different sizes; balloon key; screwdriver, both flat and Phillips; pliers; special sockets used when loosening nuts with difficult access.
  2. Rope for towing. It is better to take a steel cable or a wide one, such that it can withstand a load of 5 tons or more.
  3. Wires with double-sided clips for battery terminals, necessary when "lighting up".
  4. A foot pump or a compressor, but both are better, of course.
  5. Spare wheel and jack to it. For traveling long distances, it is better to take with you not one such spare tire, but a pair.
  6. Antifreeze canister. In this case, the antifreeze used in the air conditioner must be of the same brand as used in the cooling system.
  7. A container of distilled water to eliminate the "boil".
  8. Engine oil - the same as used in a car, and a funnel.
  9. Fuses included.
  10. Candles are complete.
  11. Light bulbs for headlights. It is not necessary to carry everything, the main thing is to have spare ones for the dipped beam.
  12. A flashlight, and preferably two: battery-operated and powered by a cigarette lighter.
  13. Sandpaper to clean up the contacts.
  14. A container with clean water for washing hands and car numbers.
  15. Folding knife, gloves, rags.
  16. Leak tester.

List of items needed in the autumn-winter period

In the cold season, a motorist should take some additional items with him that may be useful for traveling by car. Being stuck on a track with a breakdown in the winter is the last thing any auto-traveler would want. But troubles happen, and it's best to be prepared for them as much as possible, so stock up on these items:

  1. A brush with a scraper to remove snow and frost from the car.
  2. Defrost locks - this is what you need for the car in the winter.
  3. A snow shovel will also come in handy.
  4. A special anti-freeze fluid that is used in the washer if you have to travel in winter.
  5. Chain thrown over the wheels for better grip on the roadway.
  6. Even for winter time, experienced motorists are advised to keep a warm jacket, felt boots, warm blankets, hot tea in a thermos in the trunk in case there is a forced stop on the way. All this will not be superfluous when traveling a long distance.

For long trips, you can add to this list a canister with a supply of gasoline, a set of old clothes, a sapper shovel, means for making fires, clean water for drinking, a mobile phone charger that can be powered by a cigarette lighter, insulating adhesive tape, cable ties.

So, armed with all this arsenal, you can safely go on the road. Everything, of course, cannot be foreseen. But many unpleasant moments can still be avoided if you take with you the most necessary things.

Many drivers think about what should be in the car. The question is by no means idle, because anything can happen on the road, and the desire of drivers to insure against unforeseen situations is quite understandable. Of course, it is impossible to predict everything, but a certain set of things in the car must be constantly.

Without which it is absolutely impossible to go on a journey

Traffic rules regulate only a small part of what should be in the car. First of all, in accordance with the traffic rules, each car must be equipped with a first aid kit, a warning triangle and a fire extinguisher. This is the minimum established by law, which you need to have not because the traffic police inspector can issue a fine for their absence, but so that the driver can take urgent action at the scene of an accident.

Some drivers are negligent about buying a fire extinguisher, purchasing aerosol sprays labeled "Fire Extinguisher". Such a "sprinkler" will not be able to put out even a small fire, not to mention a flaming car. As practice shows, in order to cope with a fire in the engine compartment, you need a fire extinguisher with a charge mass of at least one and a half kilograms, and it is better to purchase a three-kilogram one.

As for the type of fire extinguisher, the choice between carbon dioxide and powder is up to the driver. Carbon dioxide leaves no residue behind, and is good for extinguishing fires in the cabin, but copes worse with a fire under the hood. The powder forms a crust on the surface of the burning object, which prevents the access of oxygen, and extinguishes the burning engine well, but if it is used in the cabin, it will subsequently have to be dry-cleaned.

Since July 1, 2010, the first aid kit, which should also be in the car, is not equipped with medicines, instead it contains a lot of different bandages. Therefore, the purchased first-aid kit must be understaffed independently. First of all, you should put painkillers, iodine and cotton wool in it. In addition, knowing about the problems with your health and the health of your loved ones, it will not be superfluous to put the appropriate medicines in the first aid kit.

When choosing an emergency stop sign, you need to pay attention to its stability. If it is not stable enough, it will be blown away by the wind or air flow from passing cars.

What else must be in the car

Oddly enough, some car owners drive without a spare wheel, which every car is equipped with regularly. The reason lies either in the fact that the driver prefers to free up additional space in the trunk, or did not bother to repair a punctured wheel. Meanwhile, you can catch a nail or other sharp object anywhere, and further independent movement in such a situation will become impossible. Therefore, the spare tire, jack and wheel wrench must be kept at all times.

In addition, the car must have a pump or compressor in order to pump up a flat tire if necessary. By the way, if the driver is “lucky enough” to catch the so-called “slow puncture”, when a nail or self-tapping screw stuck in the tire serves as a kind of plug, preventing free air from escaping, the wheel can also be pumped up and continue driving.

What is desirable to have in the car

In addition to the necessary items, there is a fairly extensive list of what it is desirable to have in a car. Often, fuses blow out on the road, and it is unlikely that you will be able to find a spare in the middle of the highway, so it is advisable to purchase a set of fuses and put them in the glove compartment. Fortunately, they are inexpensive and do not take up much space.

In winter, every car must have a snow brush and a scraper. It is also advisable to carry a small shovel and a bag of sand with you. This will help if the car gets stuck in the snow or stalls on the ice.

It is also advisable to purchase a tow rope. With it, you can either pull out a stuck car, or take it in tow to the nearest gas station or workshop.

The minimum set of tools will not be superfluous:

  • screwdrivers with a flat and cross-shaped sting (or one with a replaceable one);
  • key "10x12";
  • pliers;
  • aerosol WD 40;
  • insulating tape.

If the battery suddenly runs out, it will be possible to start the car with the help of wires for “lighting up”. Do not skimp and buy the cheapest and thinnest. Wires with a cross-sectional area of at least 8 sq. mm are capable of ensuring the transfer of normal inrush current with minimal losses. The wires themselves must be stranded copper, and the connections of the wires with the "crocodiles" are as reliable as possible.

Since in most cases, after fixing problems with the car, a clean driver will not succeed, you need to have a bottle of water and a rag or napkin to wash and wipe your hands. Water can also be added to the windshield washer reservoir if necessary.
