Rotary gas meter rvg wiring diagram. Rotary gas meters RVG

Rotary counter gasRVGG100 manufactured by ELSTER Gaselectronics is intended for measuring, collecting, storing and transmitting readings on the expenditure part of the consumed natural gas or other working environment that is not capable of harming the parts of the meter. The counter is suitable for such gas environments as argon, nitrogen, air. The device must not be used for oxygen and hydrogen! Before gas enters the device, the working environment must be dried and cleaned. To use the device for commercial purposes (commercial accounting), it is possible to connect electronic correctors of the type EK 270, SPG 741 (761), TS 220, VKG 2. Due to the absence of the device electrical circuit it does not have explosion protection categories.

According to climatic version gas meter rvgg100 corresponds to category C according to GOST R 52931-2008.

Counter rvgg100 able work on a gas pipeline under gas pressure up to 1.6 MPa at a relative humidity of up to 95%. All specifications summarized in one table.

The sensitivity threshold of the device is a gas flow rate of 0.16 m3/hour. The counter has a counting mechanism with a capacity of 10 7 . The price of the division of the roller with the smallest digit is 0.1. The measuring chamber has a volume of 1.07.

The composition of the counter.

Structurally, a case can be distinguished from the composition of the counter, with two bases in which bearings are built. Rotors synchronously rotating by means of gears (2 pcs.). Multi-stage gearbox, magnetic clutch and counting mechanism. All parts that have direct contact with the working medium are made of a special aluminum alloy with an anti-corrosion coating.

The device and principle of operation of the RVG G100.

The basic principle of operation of the device is the displacement of a certain amount of gas by rotors that rotate in different sides. The amount of gas that is displaced by the rotors is calculated depending on the volume of the measuring chamber of the device. The measuring chamber is formed by the internal volume of the meter body and the surface of the rotors. Rotation from the rotors is received by a gearbox and a magnetic clutch, which in turn transmit further movement counting mechanism. The counting mechanism can be rotated by 355°. This greatly simplifies the reading of the instrument readings. To measure the inlet and outlet pressure, there are places on the device body for connecting pressure sensors. For temperature sensors, there are also places for installation. Gas filter, which must be installed in front of the meter in without fail, can be mounted directly to the meter.

The meter is checked every 5 years. Verification can only be carried out by specialized service centers or manufacturer. Meters can be installed both vertically and horizontally. G100 are produced with nominal bore 80mm.

Rotary gas meters type RVG are designed to measure the volume of gas under working conditions (purified and dried: natural and city gas, propane, nitrogen, compressed air and inert gases) in thermal power plants of industrial, municipal and other enterprises, for commercial accounting of consumed gas. For the accounting OXYGEN counter use forbidden!

Before the meter, it is necessary to install a filter for gas purification from mechanical impurities (the size of solid particles in the measured gas, according to the largest measured value, should not exceed 0.08 mm).

The RVG gas meter registers the volume of gas under operating conditions. To bring the measuring volume of gas to the volume at standard conditions RVG meter can be equipped with EK270 or TC220 electronic correctors.

Distinctive features of RVG gas meters:

  • high reliability and measurement accuracy with pulsating and intermittent gas flow
  • small inertia of the mechanical system
  • wide measuring range
  • low pressure loss across the meter
  • no requirements for the length of straight sections, misalignment of the meter and the degree of non-circularity of the pipeline
  • the ability to work with electronic proofreaders EK-270, TS-220
  • work on horizontal and vertical sections of the gas pipeline
  • independence of measuring accuracy from gas pressure in the network
For remote transmission of information, incl. to an electronic corrector of the EK type (for temperature and pressure) or TS (for temperature), a low-frequency pulse sensor (reed switch) of the IN-S10 type can be connected to the counter, triggered by a magnetic insert built into the low-order digit of the counting mechanism.

Rotary gas meters RVG are designed for commercial and process flow metering of purified and dried gaseous media: natural gas, propane, hydrogen, air, nitrogen and inert gases.

Rotary meter RVG works on the principle of displacement of a strictly defined volume of gas by rotating rotors. The volume of the displaced gas is determined by the volume of the measuring chamber of the counter formed by the inner surface of the housing and the surfaces of two rotors rotating synchronously in opposite directions. The rotational movement of the rotors through the reducer and the magnetic coupling is transmitted to an 8-digit counting mechanism, which registers the number of revolutions of the rotors, and hence the volume of gas that has passed through the counter.

The RVG gas meter registers the volume of gas under operating conditions. To convert the measuring gas volume to the volume under standard conditions, the RVG meter can be equipped on request with an electronic corrector of the or type.
