The CX 7 crossover went on sale with several types of power units and transmissions. The technical characteristics of the power plants are different, the first in the range of power plants for the CX7 was a 2.2-liter turbodiesel with a power rating of 173 hp. After running on the highway, it is quite comfortable to move at a speed of 160 km / h, the Mazda CX-7 is well controlled and there is no loud noise in the cabin. Good accelerating dynamics when starting off and when overtaking. Comfortable movement on rough terrain up to 80 km/h. Winter operation brought a "surprise" - at -20, the car did not start in the morning, and a tow truck had to be called. The service changed the candles and said that all CX-7s “suffer” from this. Total mileage 75,000 km in 27 months of operation. Sold in July 2010. Losses during the sale amounted to more than 500,000 rubles. Auto hull for two years - 120,000 rubles. I go quietly, I try not to drive. Handling and maneuverability are excellent, there is practically no roll. I tried to drive along a serpentine in the mountains at a speed of 150 kilometers per hour. Before that, there were different cars, but they are not suitable for Mazda. The interior is roomy, there is enough space in the rear seats. Finishing materials are very high quality and practical. In fact, the maximum speed is limited to 200 kilometers per hour, although it is written everywhere that it is 181.

As for off-road qualities, they are impeccable. I had to drive through snowdrifts and ice in winter. Everything worked out, the main thing is not to put too much pressure on the sneaker. The fuel consumption of the Mazda CX-7 is certainly overestimated, in the city about 18 liters in summer, and in winter all 20. I tried to start it in 30-degree frost, everything turned out with ease. I think the only drawback is the rigidity of the body, because if you park somewhere on an uneven surface, the doors close differently. I don’t always feel the dimensions, so I advise everyone to install parking sensors. I also had to finish the "Shumka", as it was disgusting. I visited the service, I didn’t like the service at all, they do everything somehow not qualitatively and don’t try at all. Trouble, in general.

The dynamics of the Mazda CX-7 is excellent, sometimes I overtake even Toyota Rav 4 and Mitsubishi Outlander. Chassis is very comfortable, not hard and not soft, but such as it should. The standard audio system sounds good, nothing creaks in the cabin, I hope everything will remain so in the future. The driver's seat of the Mazda CX-7 is very comfortable, I easily set it up for myself. Visibility is normal for me, although looking at the arched pillars, many do not think so. Maybe I'm just used to them and everything suits me. The handling is amazing, the steering is crisp and the gearbox works well. But still, there are some "cons". For example, I really don't like hard plastic, which can start to creak at any time. And the expense is enormous. Around the city it comes out somewhere around 15-20 liters, and on the highway at least 13. This is assuming I don't drive too fast. It is a pity that there is no memory for seat settings and open door lighting. In addition, the steering column is not adjustable for reach, in general, there are a lot of things, but I try to come to terms with it.
