The absence of rear-wheel drive (in China, for such cars it is unnecessary) and the presence of a semi-independent rear suspension made it possible to place a traction lithium-ion battery under the trunk floor. Claimed average fuel consumption is just 5.0 l/100 km. And the developers justify the Sport prefix in the name by the fact that the main electric drive made it possible to make the reactions to pressing the accelerator as fast as possible, so a peppy pickup brings such a hybrid closer to the sensations of a sports car.

To enhance the effect of sportiness, the hybrid was even sent a new trim option in red tones based on the Acura NSX supercar. Although other differences from the purely gasoline version are only an energy exchange indicator instead of a tachometer and a button for turning on the electric driving mode.
