Landing - on asphalt - exercise. Landing is more difficult. By the way, the doors close hard - the usual effort is not enough. Salon - also does not pull on the price of the car. Yes, the dashboard is covered with leather, but somehow everything is rough and boring, besides, the abundance of metal-painted plastic, a la Auris or Corolla, does not add to the feeling of an expensive car. Options Lamborghini Gallardo poor, however, depending on what to compare. Only here again the price does not allow compromises of a comparative degree. The dynamics, of course, are amazing, the handling is also very sharp and understandable. There are practically no rolls, the suspension is stiff, but you can drive around Moscow. But this is his trouble, because driving it around the city is work. Especially in traffic jams. I bought a Lamborghini Gallardo in November 2006 from a dealer in Moscow, when it was just starting to sell. When I got into the Lamborghini Gallardo, it immediately reminded me of the cockpit of an airplane, everything is just as informative, compact, and you sit like a glove. The engine is generally a "fairy tale", the rumble of 10 cylinders is very well heard in the cabin, but it does not irritate, but rather caresses the ear. Well, let's move on. I thought that upon arrival home I would collect teeth throughout the cabin. It feels like the wheels are tightly welded to the body. A distinctive feature of the Lamborghini Gallardo is four-wheel drive, it “vomits” from a place in such a way that you remember a roller coaster, pressing into a chair, as the speed increases. With the roof open, the wind noise is practically not noticeable. It is not clear - whether it is not there at all, or whether the engine is muffled. But nonetheless.

The premiere of the Gallardo supercar (type L140) took place at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2003. The name Gallardo, traditionally for Lamborghini, whose logo is a golden bull on a black background, refers to bullfighting. This word translated from Spanish means "courageous, brave." The car was created by the joint efforts of Audi engineers (designing an all-aluminum body and engine) and Lamborghini (chassis development and double wishbone suspension tuning). The body is made in Germany at two factories - Audi AluCenter and Krupp Drauz, and then transported to Italy for final assembly. The design is similar to that of the Murcielago, as the appearance of these cars was created under the guidance of one master, Luke Donckerwolck. After the Countach, Diablo and Murcielago models, equipped with vertically opening doors, Lamborghini decided to return to traditional horizontal doors. The Gallardo also has a wider view of what is happening behind than its predecessors. The driver is aided by a host of electronic systems that also enhance the Gallardo's agility.
This car is equipped with a V10 engine located in the base in front of the rear axle. The power unit has a working volume of 5 liters. It is capable of developing power up to 500 hp, which is brought to the chassis either by a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed robotic gearbox. The camber angle of the cylinders has been increased from the traditional 72 to 90, which made it possible to reduce the height of the engine and lower the vehicle's center of gravity. In 2005, the Lamborghini Gallardo SE (Special Edition) appears. This modification was sold in a circulation of 250 copies. All cars are two-tone, with bumpers, engine cover outline, roof and exterior mirrors always black. The rest of the body parts can be yellow, green, orange, gray. Gallardo SE differ from the base model with all-wheel drive, the latest security systems and a rear-view camera, which is necessary when parking. Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder, presented at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2005, features a new design and a unique fabric top folding system under the engine compartment cover. The folding mechanism is easy to operate and is controlled by two buttons on the front panel. The design was created in Lamborghini Centro Style. The almost flat cover of the engine compartment is decorated only with narrow air outlet slots. The entire Lamborghini Gallardo series is a series of sports cars produced by the world-famous Lamborghini company over the past ten years - from 2003 to 2013. This series is somewhat smaller than the Lamborghini Aventador, formerly called the Lamborghini Murciélago, but nevertheless more common.
During its existence, this car has undergone quite serious changes and even several modifications have been released, including even the version of the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 for the police.
History of popularity
For the first time Lamborghini Gallardo was introduced in March 2003 at the Geneva auto show, where it made a splash. Motorists, of course, gladly accepted the news about the release of a more compact car with the famous bull on the hood, and the appearance of this car did not go unnoticed. At the moment, Lamborghini Gallardo in all its modifications is the most popular car from Lamborghini. 
Over the first 2 years, more than 3,000 cars were produced. If we compare this figure with the production figures of the Lamborghini Diablo, of which only 2903 units were produced in 11 years, then this is a really impressive result. At the same time, it should be said that Gallardo in the base model cost a lot, not a little, but 300,000 dollars and was positioned as a competitor for the Ferrari 458 Italia. Another indicator of the success of this Lamborghini model is the fact that 14,0022 copies of this car were assembled in 10 years.
The hero of our review, the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4, was assembled recently and, in fact, is an improved version of the Lamborghini Gallardo. In addition to some changes in design, the main differences in this model are a more powerful engine and an installed differential slip limiter. The maximum speed of this car is 325 km/h. Despite the fact that our hero attracted the attention of buyers and viewers, he did not become as popular in the standard version as expected. It is for this reason that already in 2008 at the Los Angeles Auto Show a more interesting version of this car was presented. The Gallardo LP560-4 in the Spyder modification got a soft folding roof that could be folded in just 20 seconds.
The internal characteristics of the car remained the same. The engine is equipped with a 5.2 liter engine with a capacity of 560 hp, but due to the fact that this handsome man received a folding roof, which slightly reduced his downforce to the asphalt, the acceleration speed to the first hundred increased to 4 seconds, and the maximum speed decreased to 324 km/h
In the same 2008, but already at the end of October, an interesting action took place. The car weighed not a lot, not a little, but 1300 kg and was still equipped with a 5.2-liter V10 engine. However, engine power increased slightly and amounted to 570 hp. In addition, a special aerodynamic body kit and a huge rear spoiler were made for the racing modification of this car, which increased the downforce of the car. The weight of the rims has also been significantly reduced and a new, more advanced exhaust system has been installed. In total, about 30 cars were produced in this modification, however, due to not the most outstanding achievements in the operation of the engine, this car did not receive much popularity.
Gallardo LP560-4 Bicolore
The car developed not only as a specialized car for the race track or for special services and the police. Over time, the Gallardo LP560-4 Bicolore was released, which was produced exclusively in a two-tone design. The main color could be yellow, white, gray, blue or orange, and the rest of the car was always painted black and this was the main difference between the car.
Bicolor seats were always upholstered in leather with contrasting stitching, the same color as the outer shell. The technical characteristics of the car were approximately the same as those of the original model, so we will not dwell on this moment.
Lamborghini LP560-4 Tricolore
The love for the motherland among the creators of Lamborghini cars only grew with time. And in honor of the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy, the Lamborghini LP560-4 Tricolore was presented. It was first shown in Turin, where an exhibition dedicated to this significant date was held. In a special version, Gallardo received a three-color sticker on the body, which was made in the colors of the Italian flag. This sticker went through the entire body of the car and through the vinyl rear view mirrors.
There were still no differences in the filling of the car, as well as acceleration rates to the first 100 km / h did not change and there was no increase in engine power, so the Tricolor release can be called an exclusively festive and limited edition of the traditional LP560-4.

Many years have passed since the release of the hero of our review, but for the most part, car modifications did not make significant changes. Even despite the fact that over time the LP560-4 model was replaced by the LP560-4, there were no significant changes in either the design of the car or its power. 
The only difference was that now 19-inch black-and-silver wheels were installed on the car. Probably, it was precisely the fact that there were no significant changes in the car for all 10 years that put an end to the history of this miracle of technology.
The last car in this series was released on November 25, 2013 in the modification of the Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante.

In the development of the concept of the car, in addition to the designers of the manufacturing company itself, specialists from the Audi company took an active part. It is the latter that owns the design of the body and engine, completely made of aluminum. The body of the car is produced at two German factories, after which it is transported to Italy to complete the assembly. In general, the design is somewhat reminiscent of the Murcielago model. This is not at all surprising, since the creation of both machines was led by Luke Donkervolk. The fundamental difference between a car like the Lamborghini Gallardo was the replacement of vertical doors with traditional ones.
An important advantage of the model is the rear view, which has become more extensive. Driving a car has become much easier thanks to the large number of electronic systems used here. They also made the car more manoeuvrable. The standard equipment of the car includes trimming the interior manually due to natural leather, a rear spoiler (it is electronically adjustable), climate control for several zones, 19-inch alloy wheels and much more.

In the new Lamborghini Gallardo, tuning has affected almost all elements. First of all, the base motor has been improved. Thanks to some improvements, the acceleration time to the mark of 100 km / h decreased to 4.2 seconds, and the maximum speed of the car increased to 315 km / h. You can see the engine well thanks to the transparent cover. Unlike the previous version, the car boasts all-wheel drive, a rear-view camera for convenient parking, as well as the latest security systems.
As for appearance, absolutely all cars of the SE series are two-tone. At the same time, the roof, bumpers, rear-view mirror housings, as well as the outline of the engine cover are black. For the rest of the body elements, gray, green, orange or yellow is provided. The cost of the car was about 200 thousand US dollars.
Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder
During the motor show in the German city of Frankfurt, which took place in 2005, another version of the Lamborghini Gallardo, the Spyder, debuted. One very interesting event is connected with 2008 in the history of the brand. In October, several Polizia Lamborghini Gallardos, designed specifically for this purpose, were officially donated to the Italian police. This modification differed from others by the presence of some elements designed for the high-quality performance of the work of the servants of the law. In particular, the manufacturer installed a video surveillance system in these cars, designed to record cases of offenses. It is activated by the driver, after which, due to the GPS system, you can track the criminal. Moreover, modern technologies make it possible to calculate the distance and speed of the suspect on the way and even transfer photos from cameras to the nearest police stations. These cars have repeatedly helped to find stolen cars and detain criminals.
The mid-engined all-wheel drive coupe Lamborghini Gallardo debuted in 2003. The car was equipped with a V10 5.0 engine with a capacity of 500 forces, paired with six-speed gearboxes - manual or robotic. In 2010, the lightweight Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera coupe and the LP 570-4 Perfomante roadster with engines developing 570 “horses” went on sale. It took 3.4 seconds for such a car to accelerate to “hundreds”, and the maximum speed was 325 km / h. In the same year, the rear-wheel drive version of the LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni was added to the lineup, it was not as powerful (550 hp), but it cost a little cheaper than all-wheel drive cars.
Another small restyling of the model was carried out in 2012, but this time the changes affected only the appearance of the supercar. In this form, Gallardo was produced until the end of 2013, becoming the most massive Lamborghini in history - a total of 14,022 cars were made. The successor to the model was a supercar.
