But just a few minutes ago, I considered myself a representative of the middle class, but as soon as I saw the price tag for this magnificence, my status dropped sharply to the level of the poverty line. There is the same large virtual instrument panel, the instrument configuration on which can be personalized based on personal preferences and mood. In the same way, almost the entire center console is occupied by a huge Sensus multimedia display, on which, by the way, fingerprints are very clearly visible, especially from the back row and in sunny weather. And in the same way, Bowers & Wilkins sound system speakers can transport you to the Home of the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, filling the cabin with realistic sound.
In the cabin, the back row can be called spacious, the panoramic roof adds a special charm, which from the first row is not perceived as from the second. However, with all the convenience of landing, it is somewhat incomprehensible why in a car for that kind of money there is no way to adjust the tilt of the rear seat back. Nonsense, even a mechanical option is found on cars much cheaper, but here ... But you can drop the backrests to increase the volume of the trunk using electric drives, the activation buttons of which are located in the luggage compartment. The trunk itself was nothing of the sort. Spacious, tidy, but no more. I would like to see some systems that would allow it to be zoned, but, alas, there are none. But the fact that the trunk floor for the convenience of removing the spare wheel in the open position holds the gas lift, and not a banal ribbon with a hook, like in many cars, of course, it's nice.

Which, to be honest, is hard to believe, because acceleration and high speed in the car are not felt at all: comfortable suspension, high-quality sound insulation and, as a result, complete serenity in the cabin even at the moment of acceleration. The Volvo V90 Cross Country may not be the benchmark for handling, but it doesn't need to be. The task of this car with the greatest possible comfort and safety is to take you from point "A" to point "B", even if along the way you will meet a primer or a slightly broken dirt road. Then it will be enough to use the Off Road mode, and the car itself will activate the hill descent assistance system, transfer most of the torque to the rear axle, increase the power steering, and the accelerator pedal will not be as sharp as in Sport or even Comfort mode. Well, security systems, of which there are a great many in the V90 Cross Country, both passive and active, will continue to protect you.
