The cons are not so obvious, although some of them are very critical. For example, it is highly recommended not to leave a car at autorun for a day or more. The thing is that in the exhaust system such a product of fuel combustion as water accumulates. Or rather, ice, which can clog the exhaust tract in a day, followed by the absolute impossibility of starting the engine. The car will need to be towed to a warm box / garage, and then holes should be drilled to drain water from the muffler and resonator. Question 1. What is a starting preheater.

The first option is the cheapest (on average - 2500 rubles with installation), its disadvantages can only be attributed to the fact that if you need to reprogram the preheater, you will need to go back to the car and rearrange the time. Question 3. What are the types of preheaters.

According to the type of device, preheaters are divided into liquid and air. Liquid heaters are used on passenger cars, and special equipment, trucks, buses and ships are the lot of air devices. Air heaters are larger than liquid heaters, produce more heat and, accordingly, consume more fuel.

Liquid preheaters, in turn, are divided into several types. We note that they are designed to work with gasoline and diesel engines, as well as with power plants running on gas. Conventionally, these types can be designated as follows:
