Since September 2008, Lanos has become a Ukrainian car according to all production signs of localization. At ZAZ, stamping, welding, body painting, car assembly are carried out, and for some models, engine production is also carried out at the Melitopol Motor Plant. For the production of Lanos bodies, the plant had to almost completely change all the equipment, because the new car required different stamping, welding and painting technologies.

Since November 2012, Lanos cars with factory gas equipment began to be produced. This was a response to the demand for LPG among those who want to save on fuel. And a special compliment to the taxi drivers, who were already beginning to become the main target audience for Lanos manufacturers.
