  5. Stop the engine.

  7. Refill with fresh oil.

Fill with fresh gear oil

Changing the transmission fluid is a simple process if you are not doing it for the first time. When the car has been completely prepared for filling, and the necessary parts have been cleaned and screwed on, prepare fresh oil, an oil syringe or funnel and follow the instructions:

  1. Insert a funnel into the filler neck.
  2. Pour the required amount of liquid (preferably 3.5 liters).
  3. Wait 10 to 15 minutes for the oil to drain.
  4. Check the level with a dipstick.

If the gearbox does not have a filler neck, use an oil syringe by extending its end with a flexible hose:

  1. Insert a hose with a syringe into the filler hole.
  2. Gradually pour in the oil.
  3. The lower part of the filler hole serves as a control level.
  4. Screw the plug tightly.
