She has a wheelbase stretched by 112 mm, the body is 169 mm longer (weight increased by 35 kg). The silhouette has noticeably changed: the roof here is not so sloping, and the tailgate is almost vertical.

Reshaping the body made it possible to introduce an additional row of seats. But don't be fooled by the word "Grand" in the name of the car - in Kamchatka, even first-graders are cramped. And if all the seats are in the ranks, then consider that there is no trunk - its volume is only 170 liters.

I immediately folded the third row under the floor and got the necessary space. A couple of suitcases, a backpack, a sports bag, a camera tripod and a foldable stroller are not without difficulty, but they fit.

The trunk is functional: a flat floor, straight walls with comfortable spring-loaded hinges. The backlight is a removable flashlight that can come in handy on the road. In the top configuration, and I had just such a car at my disposal, the fifth door is equipped with an electric drive. Not every competitor has this option.

Having finished with the loading of luggage, I installed a child seat: ten seconds - the locks on the Isofix mounts snapped into place. And the two-year-old daughter enthusiastically began to explore a new world for her: she immediately threw back the table built into the back of the front seat, turned on its backlight and secured the box with pencils with an elastic belt. Instruments are still located in the middle of the front panel, but now they are not three different screens, but a single 12-inch display. The scales on it are drawn, like those of the Range Rover and Mercedes-Benz S-Class. Good company, right?

The steering wheel has finally got rid of the fixed hub and is smartly trimmed along the lower chord. There are a minimum of buttons on the console, all settings are through the touch screen of the center console. Call me a retrograde, but it’s more convenient to control the climate with ordinary knobs. Yes, and slows down the screen, responding to touch with a second delay.

And only the brakes remained typically French: the slightest touch of the pedal - and the crew hangs on the seat belts. This made my daughter laugh, but my wife made a couple of caustic comments about the skill of the driver.

Bringing the new "Picasso" to the Russian market, the French did not make changes to the suspension (too much work for a small, in fact, market). And this, alas, is felt.
