In fact, according to all international rules and regulations, an automatic transmission oil (ATF) and filter change is required every 50,000-60,000 km. In this case, the car owner asks himself the question - "What kind of replacement do I need? Partial or complete?".
Partial or complete oil change in automatic transmission?
Partial replacement (ATF renewal) is carried out without flushing the automatic transmission. To carry out such work, on average, 4-5 liters and half an hour of time are required. The new oil is mixed with the old, and the operation of the box becomes smoother. Many motorists believe that it is better to carry out an exclusively complete ATF replacement, flushing the system and expelling the old fluid. We do not pursue the goal of earning as much as possible from our customers, but we warn of possible problems, and we recommend that ONLY partial replacement be performed in some cases.
