Muscovites from several districts at once noticed that electronic scoreboards, which recently appeared at bus stops public transport, disappeared again. In other places, the panels with the bus schedule remained, but did not start working, remaining in the configuration mode. At the same time, the appearance of another 300 electronic scoreboards in the city is announced - on the Garden and Boulevard rings, as well as in the MCC area. The bus still doesn’t go, and it’s not the month of May outside: a dozen people waiting at the stop near the Ulitsa 1905 Goda metro station are covered with snow. Every couple of minutes, some impatient pops up on carriageway and looks out, stretching his neck: is the treasured blue transport coming?

When will there be a bus? .. - the grandmother who came up asks. People look askance at the electronic scoreboard: they are silent, they don’t show the schedule, they only tease with the inscription “Scoreboard in setup mode”.

I have the same one at the bus stop on the Sokol, only it doesn’t hang, but stands like a pillar, - the chilled woman shares. - The thing is very convenient: you come up and you already know whether your bus is going or it’s better to take another one and go with transfers. Again, you can calculate your time. Moreover, the buses were not delayed, they arrived on time ...

The first electronic scoreboards appeared on the capital's public transport pavilions in February 2014. They show the route of the bus and the time after which it will arrive at the stop. At first, the scoreboard showed only a black screen - it is clear that some time was objectively needed to configure the panels. When the testing was over, and instead of the Malevich square, the schedule appeared on the screens, Muscovites were able to evaluate the advantages of the new device. If the scoreboards are set up correctly, then the buses arrive just on schedule. Moreover, traffic jams encountered on the way of transport are also taken into account: information about the route of buses and trolleybuses is received using satellite system navigation. As a result, every year the signs appeared at more and more stops, until this year their number reached 600 (we are talking about working panels). Last summer, two experimental stops even appeared with special voice acting for the visually impaired: you press a special button, and the voice reads out all the information on the screen.

But suddenly the scoreboard began to ... disappear again. MK turned to Mosgortrans for clarification:

As part of the beautification program, the Department overhaul dismantles some information boards, and then installs screens of a new sample, - explained in department. - Upon completion of the work, the scoreboard is transferred to the balance sheet of the State Unitary Enterprise "Mosgortrans" for further Maintenance and information support.

At the same time, they clarified that this year another 300 signs will appear on the Garden and Boulevard rings, at stops near the MCC and in other parts of the city.
