SALT PRELUDE WITH ALCOHOL FLAVOR

Usually in many books about falling into the past, the main characters seek to change the course of history. Here they play a more modest role - they fight for their country at the level of ordinary soldiers. They do not turn the millstones of history, but history “grinds” them.
The fear and confusion of the crew in the first moments after getting into the past is also an important detail that makes you believe in what is happening. It is not surprising that at first the submarine suffers huge losses - both human and material. Gradually, the captain and his team become real masters of naval warfare and launch a large-scale campaign against the Germans. No one can understand where this miracle of technology came from, and the end of the book is quite logical - not only the Nazis, but also the Soviet Union begin the hunt for a submarine. The structures of the NKVD, headed by Comrade Beria, become new, more dangerous enemies of the brave crew.
The book "Torpedo - Pli!" is not only an exciting combat adventure in an unusual dimension for the main characters, but also a rather informative historical epic. Peter Zaspa presented all the historical details as authentically as possible, including the names and features of military equipment and even the names of some fighters.
