    1. 0 - the tank is empty;

How to remove the "panel"?

  • then the wiring harness block must be disconnected from the cigarette lighter; you must also remove the ashtray lamp socket;
  • then remove the handle from the levers; it will be easier if you pry it a little with a narrow screwdriver;
  • remove the handle of the heater electric fan switch. You just need to pull it towards you;
  • using a screwdriver, unscrew the two screws that are located above the instrument cluster, as well as the other two that are under it;
  • prying off the plug, unscrew the screw that is behind it;
  • unscrew the two screws that secure the cover from below;
  • after that, remove the lining itself;
  • we mark for ourselves in what order the wiring harness pads are connected to the switches (you can fix it in the photo) and disconnect them;
  • next, unscrew the bolts securing the steering column bracket;
  • using an 8 mm wrench, unscrew the two screws of the lower bracket mount;
  • then we unscrew the self-tapping screw that secures the light guide using a Phillips screwdriver, then remove the light guide;
  • unscrew the screws that secure the heating control unit; remove the lamp holders from its reverse side;
  • after taking out the external parts, remove the decorative insert;
  • then we unscrew the corresponding nuts of the nuts either with a 21 cm wrench or with pliers;
  • remove the hydraulic corrector backlight;
  • we unscrew the screws of the lower and upper fastenings of the tidy, as well as the fastening to the cross member, which is on the left;
  • remove the instrument panel.

To install it is necessary to carry out all the steps in reverse order.

Dashboard tuning

In order for the backlight of the VAZ 2114 instrument panel to look beautiful and modern, it should be tuned. The process itself does not involve complex actions, so it can be done with ease. For tuning you need:
