The two-liter G4KD is an upgraded version of the engine from Kia Magentis (G4KA) with modified intake and exhaust manifolds, SHPG and timing. The CVVT system is also on both shafts, attachments and firmware have been upgraded. The real power of such an engine is 163 horsepower, but for Russia it is underestimated to 150 horsepower in order to meet the transport tax. There are no hydraulic compensators (as in G4FC, G4KD), therefore, after strictly defined mileage intervals (each model has its own), valve adjustment is necessary.
