The Russian motorcycle club "Night Wolves" was founded in 1989. Initially, it consisted of no more than 15 people who, on motorcycles, provided protection for rock musicians from the so-called "lubers". Gradually, the club grew, began to hold incredible for that time large-scale opening and closing of motorcycle seasons, rock concerts and bike parties. By 2007, a rigid vertical of power began to be consolidated in the club, subordination to the charter and leadership in the person of Alexander "Surgeon" Zaldostanov.

Despite the fact that all over the world bikers have a reputation for hooligans, far from politics and public life In Russia, the situation is completely opposite. The chief biker "Surgeon" is a holder of the Order of Honor, is a member of the board of directors of the propaganda TV channel "Zvezda" and is actively involved in the anti-Ukrainian movement.

Clubs that belong to the MG - MotoGang formation traditionally cannot communicate directly with the authorities, do not accept monetary subsidies from them, and are not members of political parties. The Night Wolves are under the direct patronage of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Interviews with "The Surgeon" are full of phrases testifying to devotion to the president: "I will do everything so that not a single creature can touch the president" or "For me, the president of Russia is the guarantor of power, support and hope."

In July 2012, Putin was four hours late for a meeting with Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, as he met with the "Surgeon" and motorcyclists.

In October of the same year, "Night Wolves" received a state grant in the amount of 3.7 million rubles for holding children's Christmas trees.

Zaldostanov himself owns a bike center where night club Sexton, a restaurant-bar, a dance floor with a podium, a lounge area and a hotel, which also brings in a good income.

At the same time, the club earns money by selling clothes and symbols and enjoys the open patronage of the Russian Orthodox Church in the person of the patriarch himself. By the way, recently "Night Wolves" prefer to call themselves not bikers, but Orthodox motorcyclists.

"Night Wolves" were among the first to support the plans Russian President to seize part of Ukraine. During the illegal annexation of Crimea, "Night Wolves" set up a watch near the building of the Sevastopol administration, protecting it from a possible assault by pro-Ukrainian activists. After a motocross across the Crimea and eastern Ukraine, the hashtag #russian spring appeared on the network. According to Zaldostanov, the Ukrainian "wolves" built the first barricade and checkpoint in Lugansk. In Russia, the "Night Wolves" became the organizers of the Anti-Maidan.

The reaction of Ukrainian bikers was not long in coming. In March 2013, the Zaporizhzhya motorcycle club called on all motorcyclists to hunt "bastard wolves". "The essence of the action is to eradicate on the territory of Ukraine an incomprehensible formation in the form of the Night Wolves motorcycle association, which, using the paraphernalia of biker culture, by its actions dishonors and in every possible way discredits the biker movement and traditions, while relying on the support of the Russian authorities, behaves boorish and aggressive towards all dissident bikers who do not hesitate to express their opinions against them," the Cossacks said in their appeal.

The world community did not stand aside - in December 2014, the United States imposed economic sanctions on the Night Wolves club and Zaldostanov personally. Due to the support of Putin's policy in Ukraine, "Surgeon" was banned from entering Canada in February 2015.

Once again, the "Night Wolves" were talked about on April 10 this year, when the press service of the "Night Wolves" announced their immediate plans. The bikers were going to arrange a motor race dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Victory, which was supposed to go along the route Moscow - Minsk - Brest - Wroclaw - Brno - Bratislava - Vienna - Munich - Prague - Targau - Karlshorst - Berlin. But Polish bikers protested after learning about such intentions of the Russians. On April 24, the Polish authorities officially informed Russian diplomats about the ban on entry to Poland for participants in the Moscow-Berlin rally. The "surgeon" said that he was not going to change the route of the motorcycle race, despite the protests of Polish bikers.

On April 16, the German newspaper Die Welt, citing law enforcement sources, reported that the Berlin authorities would not allow Russian bikers to travel through the city.

On April 24, information appeared that Germany was canceling the visas of the Night Wolves. On the same day, the Polish authorities officially informed Russian diplomats about the ban on entry to Poland for participants in the Moscow-Berlin motor rally, organized by the Night Wolves biker club.

The Russian Foreign Ministry immediately reacted to the decision of the Polish authorities, calling it inadequate and accusing Poland of disrupting the Night Wolves motorcycle rally, while Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu wrote in his unofficial Twitter: “The motorcycle rally through Poland must be done on tanks. "Night Wolves", good luck to you!".

"Surgeon" declares that the club will not give up the idea of holding a motorcycle race under any circumstances. "As we planned, we will do so. If we refuse our run, then let's give up everything altogether. Let's give up May 9, let's give up our graves, our history and our past. Let's give up everything then, let's clap clap your hands and pray for the dollar sign," he said. At the same time, he added that he himself would not yet take part in the event. Passport at the embassy.

And colleagues will catch up later. If a visa is issued.

The biker Surgeon, well-known in Russia and abroad, Alexander Zaldastanov, spent 2 days in Magadan, getting acquainted with the history of the city and its sights. His film "Russian Reactor" aroused keen interest among both young people and the older generation. The audience actively discussed the tape, did not let go of the Surgeon for a long time, asking him a lot of questions, sharing their emotions and thanked him for a direct, honest, sometimes harsh, but very poetic and bewitching film.

"Russian Reactor" was shown twice to residents free of charge at the Gornyak cinema, and then at IK No. 3.

Through him, the truth came to us, which saved our entire state, bloodied and humiliated in the 90s, from desecration and desecration.

It is no coincidence that this day coincided with the Day of Serbian Statehood, inextricably linked with the fate of Mother Russia.
And may today, on the day of the Meeting of the Lord, our two powers, walking hand in hand, be able, like the holy righteous Simeon, to meet the Savior in the future ...

As promised in the previous post, today I will show you in photos and video what the Sexton club in Moscow looks like now. For starters, where is it? Address: Moscow, st. Nizhniye Mnevniki, 110. You will recognize the place by the huge chopper at the entrance.

The club occupies an impressive area and consists of several buildings that house bars, motorcycle repair, stages for events and a public area. Everything is decorated in the author's style from the details of old mechanisms in the style of Mad Max.

You can drive into Sexton on your motorcycle - entry is free. Enough parking space inside.

No matter how someone treats the Night Wolves, especially in the light of recent events in a friendly neighboring state, this is not the topic of the post - everyone decides for himself. Let me just say that I have been to Sexton more than once and always met a rather warm friendly atmosphere there, no one bullies, bikers have fun in a friendly way, but the guards, consisting of members of the club and assistants, are always on the lookout just in case.

Significant moment: I'm standing behind the bar, waiting for my tea, and then an NW member comes up for tea for himself and his friends and accidentally steps on my foot a little. Well, it came and came, shitty question, I'm in berets and here it's not some kind of fucking theater, I didn't attach any importance. And what would you think? He turned to me and apologized, I already freaked out from surprise. Firstly, I didn’t expect this, and secondly, I thought: would I apologize myself or would I not attach any importance to this, perhaps offending some biker and catching on cabbage soup for this? This is what I mean: to the fact that normal people always remain normal, and if you are not sure whether you should visit this place, rest assured: it is safe, fun and friendly here.

What to do in Sexton? Start by having a snack or a normal meal. At the opening of the season, as usual, several lambs are roasted on skewers. I took one of them. You can screw a plate of pilaf, as the others did. For more demanding tastes, you can sit at an open-air or awning table, open the menu and get food like in a restaurant.

Beer and alcohol - for every taste. Non-alcoholic drinks for those who drive or are teetotalers: mint tea, coffee, etc.

Toward evening, musical groups enter the stage and begin to rock. The fun can go on forever.

Life hack for bikers: Young girls constantly come to Sexton, often in several pieces in search of a courageous biker who will take them away on his iron horse. So do not click your beak, take it while they give it! 🙂
