- Put on your gloves again. Take a container (bottle) and place it under the drain hole. Unscrew the plug with your hands (wrench or pliers). The liquid will start flowing again.
- You will need to drain about two of these bottles. When you see that new fluid is already draining, insert a funnel and pour in the same amount of new grease that was drained.
- Locate the dipstick back to its original location. Start the car and wait 5 minutes. Start shifting gears in the correct sequence (from P to 2 and back). Between each switch, take a break of 2-3 seconds. Then check the amount of fluid with a dipstick.
