The main disadvantage is that the headlights of cars with a 1.4 liter engine (at the time of the video review they were not yet sold) are ordinary reflex, simple halogen ones. And all the rest have projector lenses, but also halogen ones. But it doesn't look very good. The dipped beam beam is frankly weak and the road is not very far visible.

We continue the review of the new Kia Rio, consider the salon in the "Lux" configuration. All the added free space was sent to it. But the trunk has become smaller due to the fact that they changed the rear suspension and put the rear shock absorbers almost vertically (they used to be tilted).

Touch screen that works very well. Not a glass screen, but a matte film, but overall not bad. He still doesn't slouch. Plenty of room in the back seats, but no profiling in the back seat. Not enough height.

Driving performance

The suspension design has been heavily redesigned and is now almost the same as on the Elantra. Front Macpherson, rear beam. But unlike the Solaris, the suspension is stiffer here. The "jumping" of previous versions of Rio has been preserved.

Noise isolation is really bad.

If you drive at low speeds, you can't hear anything. But when the speed approaches 70 km / h, then there is a crazy rumble of tires, and after 100 km / h - also aerodynamic noise. The car body structure was also reworked, special noise-absorbing materials were used, but success is not particularly felt. Everything else is great.

On the mechanics, the car is very dynamic, but on the machine everything is very measured and slowly switches, which sometimes infuriates.
