For the first time, the second generation of Lada Kalina cars was presented at the Moscow Motor Show. AvtoVAZ presented the new Lada Kalina 2 to motorists in two bodies at once - a hatchback and a station wagon. Sales of the model will start in the first half of 2013, while the new Kalina will enter the domestic market immediately in the maximum configuration - "lux", equipped with an automatic transmission.
Design of Lada Kalina 2 in "lux" package
The exterior design of Lada Kalina 2 has become much more rigorous - this is how the car is perceived due to the lines of the hood and wings, new wheel arches, updated bumpers with powerful foglights, tailgates, and reduced sidewall windows. The front optics acquired more formidable features - a clear "cut" of the headlights, fog lights equipped with a shiny edging. The headlights have daytime running lights. All cars will have roof rails for station wagons, as well as side moldings for luxury equipment. Complement the overall picture powerful alloy wheels size R14. All this harmoniously fits into the new image of the restyled Kalina.

Updated interior of "luxury" Kalina 2
The interior has become even more modern, and first of all, the changes have affected the instrument panel, which has become more comfortable and respectable. The range of longitudinal adjustment of the seats has become larger by 20 mm - the forward travel has increased, which is very convenient for drivers of short stature. The quick transformation of the seats to the resting position is now provided by the original mechanism that regulates the inclination of the front seat backrest. The rear seats in the luxury package are now separate and have an ISOFIX child seat attachment system, the front seats are equipped with a heating system with a thermostat.
The glove box of the updated Lada Kalina has become much more spacious, and an additional glove compartment with a lid has appeared in the “luxury” package. Front passengers (in particular, passengers) will appreciate the presence of a mirror in the sun visor. For owners of "luxury" Kalins of the second generation, L-shaped rear seat head restraints, an ashtray and a cigarette lighter, a glasses container and a cargo net in the trunk (for station wagons) will be available. 
Powerful and safe Lada Kalina 2 "lux"
Lada Kalina 2 in the "lux" configuration will now be equipped with a new cable "mechanics" and an automatic transmission JATCO, which is now being installed not only on Lada Granta cars, but also on Japanese Nissans.
The new Kalina has updated suspension settings: the caster has been increased, the rear beam has a negative camber, the steering rack has been shortened, its gear ratio is 3.1. AvtoVAZ, together with the Renault-Nissan alliance, developed shock absorbers, silent blocks and springs for Kalina 2 with new settings that are responsible for improved stability and controllability. The new rigid fastening of the steering rack enhances the sharpness of the control of Kalina 2.
Lada Kalina 2 in the "lux" package has not only the driver's airbag, which is already present in the base model, but also the front passenger's airbag, as well as side airbags. The luxury version is equipped with ABS with emergency brake booster. In all trim levels, it is possible to adjust the height of the front seat belts, and the deluxe equipment is also equipped with seat belt pretensioners. The car fully complies with the current European and domestic standards for passive safety.
Additional options for the convenience of using Kalina 2 in the "luxury" package
Power steering and the ability to adjust the steering column is available on absolutely all vehicle trim levels. In the luxury configuration, the car will be equipped with a central lock with remote control and a folding key, an automatic door closer, power windows not only for the front but also for the rear doors, a heated windshield, heated rear-view mirrors, exterior anti-glare mirrors in body color, climate control. As additional options, the maximum configuration of Lada Kalina 2 can be equipped with parking sensors, a rain sensor and auto headlights, a stability control system, as well as R15 rims.

The vehicle may belong to your close relative. The latter may be considered: siblings, parents, children or spouses. Family ties will need to be documented.

Installment plan
