It is worth paying special attention to the power terminals on the generator. They very often become loose, heat up, spark and melt the wiring. But this is not the worst. The wires can short-circuit, and here it already smells of burning. Therefore, do not be lazy, but as often as possible check this assembly for tightness of the terminals.
