We are talking about Daewoo Nexia New (N150). The car was taken in oil, that is, straight from the factory, at the time of its inspection, a month had passed since it came down from the assembly line. As expected, a purchase is always a slight euphoria :). From the moment of ordering, to receiving the long-awaited. I arrived at the salon, went up to the manager, he greeted and escorted to the car. The first inspection went well, everything worked, no defects were found. After paying the rest of the money, I received the long-awaited documents and keys)).
First trip. "Check"
Upon closer examination, I caught my eye a small chip on the body, it was very small, but not very pleasant ... The chief foreman immediately jumped up with a jar of paint and promptly dipped it once with a brush, did not run into them, they still wouldn’t understand anything and it doesn't really depend on them.
I left the salon, everything was fine, nothing, as they say, did not portend trouble. I drove to a gas station (Neft Magi * trawl, I don’t advise you to refuel on them) next to the salon (very little gasoline is poured in the salons, right, why should they go broke) and drove closer to the house, which is 25 km from the place of purchase. This is where the first "dances" began. After 20 kilometers, the check light came on. What could be the problem, of course, it was very difficult to understand ... Uncle (he understands cars well) could not do anything, warranty service helped a lot here. In the service, where I arrived under warranty, they simply threw off the "check" (they said that the new Nexia had a disease for gasoline), but after driving 20 km, the "check" caught fire again. On the second visit, they already made a diagnosis (!) (for the first time, apparently, it was done in scrap) and found out that the lamb probe was not working. It was lucky that it was under warranty, the cost of the lamb probe, at that time, was about 15 thousand rubles, plus four candles. The reason for everything was low-quality gasoline, which was filled at the first gas station. While I was driving with a "check", it seemed to me that I had a very high consumption. After making simple measurements, I was horrified, in the fall Nexia "ate" 14-15 liters per hundred (!) (As if I had a three-liter engine).
Autumn. "Omyvayka"
Autumn has come in the yard, slush is the first signal that it is time to use the wipers. 2 liters of liquid were poured into the washer reservoir and after a half-hour trip, the washer light comes on (well, I couldn’t pour 2 liters of liquid in half an hour). It went on for a week until I realized that the liquid was just leaking out. The service said that the engine housing (for pumping the washer) is cracked. I mean that it was originally cracked, from the factory, or it was replaced in the salon (dealer salons often trade in replacing parts, putting obviously Chinese or faulty ones). It was also replaced under warranty. I liked the fact that the service did not have any questions and everything changed immediately. The only negative is the waiting for the part, an average of 14 days.
Spring. power steering
In winter, the car drove off well, and especially it started! As there, in the advertisement, it was said: “I love Uzbeks. They start up well in winter, ”I can confirm 100%! At minus thirty, the car gave the sounds of life from 2-3 times the starter was scrolled. I remember somehow I left work (it was about 27 * frost), looked at how everyone was pushing and towing their cars, sat down, started it, warmed it up and drove off)). Spring came, the car behaved well on the road, but in the rear wheel (so it seemed to me) there was a sound of wiping the tire on the arch, it was always when turning. I tried to find traces visually, but without success, nothing was visible. Having signed up for the service, I decided to drive a little more, but in the end it got to the point that the steering wheel turned, as if without power steering, and it immediately became clear why all this was. The service did not allow me to drive the car under its own power and a tow truck took me. All services were at the expense of the dealer, the tow truck cost around 4 thousand rubles. The cause of this problem was a cracked hose, through which power steering fluid flowed when turning (this is where this sound, very similar to friction, came from). After that, outwardly, the engine began to resemble a car of the 90s, this fountain of oil flooded the entire engine. On this, in the coming year, "dancing with a tambourine" ended.
Summer. Cool down
Remember the heat that was in the central part of Russia (and not only)? After this heat and got out a new problem. The car cools well, no problems arise, even in heavy heat. Somehow, after stopping, I decided to look under the hood and noticed an interesting picture, from the middle of the “coolant” reservoir, the same liquid is bubbling. Maybe it burst during the heat or was already defective, who knows, but under the guarantee everything was very well drained, replaced and filled.
