Mitsubishi ASX owner reviews

Motor 1.6

  • Yuri, Petrozavodsk. The machine is equipped with Instense with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine, 117 horsepower. Gearbox - mechanics, drive - full. The transmission reveals the potential of the engine well, provides good acceleration dynamics. In the urban cycle, the car consumes 8-9 liters, outside the city I fit into five liters. The crossover accelerates to 100 km / h in 12 seconds, and the maximum speed is 180 km / h.
  • Nicholas, Irkutsk. I saved well on the Mitsubishi ASX crossover. Machine performed by Intense, with a 117-horsepower petrol engine, mechanics and front-wheel drive. Basic equipment, fuel consumption 8 liters maximum. On the highway, the car consumes 5 liters. A good model as the first crossover, and after a year or two I will change it to VW Tiguan. I have been driving Mitsubishi since 2015. I liked the stylish sporty design and moderately stiff suspension.
  • Andrey, Chelyabinsk. I have traveled 70 thousand kilometers, I have been driving ASX since 2016. I have an updated crossover with an aggressive and angular design, which will probably be relevant for a long time to come. The version with a 1.6 engine and a CVT consumes 9-10 l / 100 km.
  • Yuri, Vorkuta. A car for all occasions - suitable for city and country trips, and also behaves well on rough terrain. But on the other hand, you can blame the car for a stiff suspension - this is perhaps the main drawback of the ASX. But the car is endowed with excellent directional stability, it keeps well in corners. In the city, the car consumes no more than 8-9 l / 100 km. I have a 2014 version with a 1.6 liter engine and a manual.
  • Vitaly, Yaroslavl. I bought a Mitsubishi ASX in 2016, a car in the Instyle configuration with a 117 horsepower gasoline engine. The 1.6-liter engine economically consumes gasoline, which has been proven in practice. I have already driven 50 thousand kilometers, fuel consumption is kept at the same level - in the region of 8-9 liters per 100 km, this is the maximum that I have seen.

Motor 1.8

  • Semyon, Dnepropetrovsk. A good car for the city, but the 1.8-liter engine is no longer enough for the highway. Machine performed by Invite with an engine of 140 horsepower. Machine with CVT and front-wheel drive. I rarely go to the track, mainly because of the weak motor. In addition, the variator takes some of the power and increases consumption. By the way, in the city you can keep within 10 liters per 100 km.
  • Vadim, Moscow region. In 2017, I bought a used Mitsubishi ASX for 400 thousand rubles. Machine 2013, equipment Intsyle with a 1.8-liter engine with 140 forces. The version with a CVT and front-wheel drive consumes 10 liters in the city.
  • Pavel, Kaliningrad. The optimal car as a family car, for economical users, so to speak. At the same time, the car has an aggressive appearance, and it looks more expensive than it actually is. I have a 1.8-liter petrol engine, intense version. There is air conditioning, heated seats and power mirrors. The interior is relatively spacious. Suspension moderately stiff, but there are rolls in corners. Handling is worse than the Tiguan, the car is still worth the money spent. Moreover, I have a supported ASX 2014, I bought it in 2018. The current mileage is 80 thousand kilometers, the average consumption of gasoline is 10 liters.
  • Alexander, Minsk. I own a 2014 Mitsubishi ASX, with a powerful 150 hp engine and CVT. Options Instayl, with front-wheel drive and full power accessories. The variator worsens the dynamics a little and does not allow the engine to open up, but on the other hand, it is very convenient with the variator in the city. The car consumes 10 liters per 100 km in the city.
  • Konstantin, Lipetsk region. I have a 2016 ASX, updated machine in Suriken configuration. The 1.8-liter petrol engine produces 140 horsepower and consumes 10 liters maximum. In my opinion, the CVT really helps save gas. By the way, there is full support for the 95th fuel. Gasoline consumption per 100 km is 11 liters.
  • Boris, Tver region. I have a Mitsubishi ASX 2015 model year, in the Invite configuration with a 140-horsepower aspirated petrol. Its volume is 1.8 liters. Gearbox - variator. Front-wheel drive version, which is enough for a crossover. A car with a full package of options, everything suits me. The main thing is to pass MOT on time and everything will be fine. In the city, the car consumes 10 liters.
  • Ruslan, Pyatigorsk. I have a supported Mitsubishi ASX, which attracted me with its design and acceleration dynamics. In terms of handling, the car is not far behind the Tiguan, but in terms of cross-country ability, it is no different at all. Moreover, I have a version with all-wheel drive. Bought in 2016. The first generation model, produced in 2013 (before restyling), in the Instyle configuration with a 1.8-liter gasoline engine and a CVT. Gasoline consumption per 100 km is 10 liters.

Motor 2.0

  • George, Kyiv. I have a Mitsubishi ASX in the Instayl package. Version with a two-liter 150-horsepower engine, acceleration to hundreds in 12 seconds. The dynamics were not at all impressive, especially for such a motor. I am disappointed in the car. I've been driving ASX for about a year, I'm going to sell it. In the city, the crossover consumes 10 liters.
  • Alexey, Kirovograd. I drive a Mitsubishi ASX 2014, I have a restyled car by Surken with a two-liter gasoline engine with 150 horsepower. Acceleration to 100 km / h in 12 seconds. The engine is aggregated with a variator, a version with all-wheel drive. The maximum fuel consumption is 11 liters in the city, in the suburban cycle no more than 7 liters. I liked the car, drove 100 thousand kilometers in four years and no problems.
  • Igor, Sverdlovsk. Cool car for its price range. I have a car in the Instyle version, with a 150-horsepower gasoline engine and all-wheel drive. Drove 70 thousand kilometers, the car has been in operation since 2016. In the city, the car consumes 10 liters, on the highway it turns out 8 liters.
  • Viktor, Ryazan. I drove a Mitsubishi ASX for about a year, then I handed the car over to my wife. The car is not bad, but the handling is not very good - I like more sporty cars, such as Tiguan. Machine with a 2-liter engine, equipment Invite. 90,000 have been driven since 2016. Gasoline consumption 10 l / 100 km.

The Mitsubishi ASX compact SUV appeared on the markets relatively recently - in 2010. The abbreviation "ASX" means Active Sport X-over - "crossover (SUV) for active driving." In 2014, the car was slightly upgraded. The technical part has undergone changes (cars began to be equipped with CVTs) and internal equipment (navigation systems). Until today, the production of SUVs has not stopped.

Mitsubishi ASX 1.6

One of the engines that Mitsubishi ACX is equipped with is a 1.6-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine capable of developing a power of 117 “horses”. A torque of 154 Nm allows you to accelerate the ACX to 183 km / h. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox.

Reviews on Mitsubishi ACX 1.6 consumption per 100 km

  • Andrey, Lipetsk. I have a Mitsubishi ACX 2102, 1.6, MT. Bought a car recently, while only run in. The first impression is positive, a lot of space, the car obeys, the seats are comfortable. Large and roomy trunk. Fuel consumption during break-in is an average of 9 liters of gasoline.
  • Artur, Bryansk. I bought the car in the salon, I waited a long time for the order. Satisfied with the car itself, good handling and patency. There were no breakdowns in two years. I have a 2014 model, a 1.6 liter engine, gasoline goes from 6 to 8 liters per hundred kilometers.
  • Rinat, Kazan. Mitsubishi ACX assembly 2014, 1.6, mechanics. I bought an SUV for intercity trips and for family needs. For a year and a half, there was only one trouble - I caught a stone, and the windshield cracked. More surprises the car did not present. Minimum consumption - 6 liters highway, 8 liters city.
  • Ruslan, Petersburg. I bought the car at the end of 2013 in the minimum configuration, but despite this, I really like the ACX. At any time of the year and on any road surface, the car takes out without straining at all. Consumption for such a mass is ridiculous - an average of 7 liters of gasoline.
  • Maxim, Gomel. My Mitsubishi ACX 2011 release, 1.5, MT. We have a family car, and everyone was happy with the choice of this particular model. Landing is comfortable for everyone, there is enough space. The trunk is roomy, even furniture was transported. The most pleasant moment is fuel consumption: from 5.5 liters on a suburban highway to 7 liters in the city.
  • Vasily, Irkutsk. Mitsubishi ASX 2010 was bought from a neighbor in connection with his departure. I could not get enough of the purchase, because the ACX looks very interesting in appearance, and, thanks to my friendship with a neighbor, I also knew about its driving characteristics. The car is super, the Japanese know their business. Gasoline consumption in the city does not exceed 7.5 liters.

Mitsubishi ASX 1.8

The next type of engine installed on the Mitsubishi ACX is a 1.8-liter gasoline four-cylinder engine with a power of 140 hp. The torque is 177 Nm, and allows you to accelerate to 189 km / h. The power unit is paired with a CVT variator.

Reviews on Mitsubishi ACX 1.8 consumption per 100 km

  • Robert, Moscow. Mitsubishi ASX 2012 I took in the cabin. Ride on a test drive, I realized that this option suits me completely. During the break-in, the computer showed fuel consumption up to 12 liters in the city. Then I measured it myself, it turned out about 7 liters on the highway, 10 liters in the city.
  • Ivan, Krasino. I am the owner of Mitsubishi ACX 2014 onwards. I must say right away that you will not hear anything bad about the car. The appearance is original, the interior is rustic, but this has its own charm, the seats are comfortable, off-road patency is excellent. A good, high-quality and economical car, it consumes only 8 to 10.5 liters of gasoline per 100 km.
  • Timofey, Astrakhan. Mitsubishi ASX, 1.8, variator, 2015 onwards I drive it quite recently, but I have already managed to appreciate the advantages of a high seating position and ground clearance. A good addition was the presence of a rear-view camera. But the thickness of the metal strains a little, it is pressed with a finger. Consumption on average 9 liters.
  • Nikolay, Rostov. I bought a Mitsubishi ACX 2012 in the cabin, but after the purchase, chips appeared very quickly, which began to rust. Refused to repaint under warranty. I am dissatisfied with many other little things, mainly expensive service. The car is not worth the money. Consumption is quite acceptable - 8-10 liters per 100 km.
  • Grigory, Kursk. I like the car, although there are some shortcomings: the sound insulation is poor, my head hurts on long trips, the metal is thin, the variator slows down. Consumption on the highway is 7-9 liters, depending on the load of the car, in the city 11-13 liters, in winter - 15-17 liters. I have a 2013 model, 1.8 liter engine.
  • Oleg, Mytishchi. Mitsubishi ASX, 2014 onwards The car took the age of 1 year, with a mileage of 18 thousand km. I had to tinker with the replacement of small things, but now we are all right. I often travel out of town, I haven’t got stuck anywhere yet, even in winter, even off-road. The back does not hurt either, a comfortable fit. Consumption from 6 to 11 liters of gasoline, depending on the driving style.

Mitsubishi ASX 2.0

Another type of engine that is installed on the Mitsubishi ACX is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 150 horsepower. Its torque of 197 Nm is able to accelerate the car to a maximum of 190 km / h. The engine runs on gasoline and is combined with a CVT variator.

Compact urban crossovers, as a separate class of cars, have long won a place in the sun. Today, almost every automaker has representatives of such models. In this case, Mitsubishi is no exception.

Attention! Not everywhere the car is called Mitsubishi ASX.

Under this name, this model is known mostly in Europe. At home in native Japan, this car is known to everyone as the Mitsubishi RVR. In the United States, this is only a sports version of the Mitsubishi Outlander.

Relatively recently, this machine began to be actively sold in France. And there it is now known as the Citroen C4 or Peugeot 4008. It's funny how many personalities can be in the same car.

After the last revision, the car began to look a little different. At this rate, it will be hard to recognize her very soon. While the changes are in favor of the car. It is not known what will happen in the future.

The debut of the Mitsubishi ASX crossover took place in 2010 at the Geneva Motor Show. The main purpose of this car is active driving in urban environments. This is one of the points explaining its considerable popularity in Russia. The second point is modern carefully thought-out design of this model. In particular, this applies to an interesting grille, copied from the developers of jet fighters. Cars intended for the Russian market are assembled in the United States at an automobile plant in Illinois. But one of the first things that potential buyers are interested in is Mitsubishi ACX fuel consumption per 100 km.

What determines the fuel consumption of Mitsubishi ASX

It is difficult to unequivocally answer the question of what fuel consumption is on a Mitsubishi ASX. It depends on many things. For example:

  • From driving style;
  • From the time of year;
  • From the configuration of the motor;
  • From the health of the filters and fuel system;
  • From the equipment included in the car (air conditioners, music, etc.).

If we rely on officially provided data, then Mitsubishi ASX consumption is 8 to 10 in the city and 5 to 7 on the highway. Again, it all depends primarily on the engine installed in the car.

It is worth clarifying that the presented data are quite close to the real state of affairs. That is, this is not the case when manufacturers claim one Mitsubishi ACX consumption, but in reality the car consumes much more. If consumption and more official data, then a maximum of 0.5-0.7. In fact, this difference is not significant.

Fuel consumption depending on the engine

The first internal combustion engine that this car can be equipped with is a 1.6-liter gasoline 4-cylinder unit. Its power is 117 horses. Such an engine consumes eight liters in city mode and only five liters when driving on the highway. For the crossover class, such fuel consumption as on the Mitsubishi ACX is really an achievement. Other models in this segment consume much more.

The torque of this motor is 154 Nm. This allows the car to accelerate easily up to 183 kilometers per hour. This engine comes with a 5-speed gearbox.

The second version of the engine is a gasoline 4-cylinder engine with a power of 140 horses and a volume of 1.8 liters. The torque of this unit is 177 Nm. This makes it possible to accelerate the car to 189 kilometers per hour. This ICE functions in tandem with the CVT variator. The fuel consumption of this Mitsubishi ASX per 100 km is 9.8 liters in the city and approximately 6.4 liters on the highway.

The latest version of the engine is a 2.0-liter unit and four cylinders. The torque of this engine is 197 Nm. Due to this, the car is able to reach 18 kilometers per hour. Motor power 150 horsepower. The internal combustion engine operates on gasoline in tandem with a CVT variator. Its consumption is slightly higher compared to previous versions. In the city, it consumes 10.5 liters, and on the highway 6.8 liters.

Factors affecting fuel consumption are:

  • body aerodynamics;
  • Adventitious numbers in the gearbox;
  • Car load.

To reduce fuel consumption ASX should constantly monitor the technical condition of the machine and choose the most suitable driving mode. Much will also depend on the experience of the driver. This car mainly uses 92 and 95 gasoline. It all depends on the condition and type of engine of the car.

Mitsubishi ASX was first presented at the Geneva Motor Show in 2010. With the release of this compact urban crossover, Mitsubishi has contributed to filling one of the most sought-after vehicle classes.

The model is distinguished by its compact dimensions - the length of the crossover is 4295 mm, the wheelbase is 2670 mm. The design of the machine was developed taking into account the best traditions of the manufacturer. At the front is a trapezoidal grille. The slightly receding roofline and sporty body lines improve aerodynamic performance and the wedge-shaped design. The sills and the lower part of the bumpers are not painted in body color, so they create an additional longitudinal line.

The Mitsubishi ASX uses a fundamentally new head optics with xenon headlights, their illumination angle is 160 degrees. The lights on the back of the car are assembled into a horizontal block. The massive rear-view mirrors, which are equipped with additional turn signals, fit very harmoniously into the general view. 17-inch wheels visually increase the size of the machine.

For the crossover, a new color scheme for Mitsubishi was proposed from 8 options. It is noteworthy that the exclusive color "Kawasemi" was specially developed for this model - in Japan, this is the name of the turquoise-blue bird ...

I have a purebred Japanese - Mitsubishi Asx, so I'll tell you about him. I've owned it for three years now. Motor 1.8, 150 hp, black (you had to pay extra for it, although you pay extra for all colors except white). He was waiting for a long time. In the cabin, the material is cheap, but you won’t find better with classmates for such a price. But the leather steering wheel is nice (it's from Lancer). In general, this crossover imitates almost completely: its suspension is from Outlander. In short, the new body was supplemented with proven spare parts. Handling like a sedan (thanks to the built-in electric power steering). The dynamics are not very good, but a second pause after pressing it worsens it even more. The motor of this machine is very smart and the variator too. Besides Shumka - rubbish! You can hear the road, bumps, life under the hood. This is a huge minus Mitsubishi ACX 1.8. The brakes are clear, good, in the winter they helped me out more than once. Disc mounted at the rear, ventilated at the front. Brakes the car straight along the trajectory. The suspension is impeccable (the most optimal of all the crossovers I have driven), easily swallows holes, recumbents, bumps, joints. Banks in the corners did not notice. There is enough space for everyone in the cabin. The front seats are set high, rear passengers can even stretch their legs. Not bad ergonomics, everything is where it is necessary, you are not distracted from the movement. It is better not to take a complete set (for the price it will lose to SUVs, and this is not advisable). Enough off-road qualities for the city. I didn’t climb into the dirt, but this car is rather weak for this. A year later I want to sell Shumkov got. There were no breakdowns.

Hello!!! Before ASX, I had two cars. I love comfort, so I originally wanted a sedan. Once I went to the Mitsubishi salon to take a closer look at the Lancer, and accidentally noticed the ASX. It was definitely love at first sight! The car was not cheap, 889,000 rubles, but I decided to buy it) Front-wheel drive, CVT. Today my baby is 5 months old. As for the lining - I'm fine. True, there is a lot of plastic, and the color is branded, and the rear window is quickly smeared and the side windows do not fold. It is very comfortable inside, but they saved money on finishing the car. The plastic is soft in places, and in some places it is oak! The height of the driver's seat is adjustable. The glove compartment is not roomy at all. The trunk is also small, but again, it’s like anyone, for example, “behind the eyes”. The climate control in the car is good - it is warm in winter, and air conditioning works fine in summer. Up to 140 km/h the dynamics are excellent, after it will be worse. The suspension is stiff. And so, the machine rides safely along the highway)) True, sometimes the back rearranges when cornering. This car is designed for the highway and the city, but not off-road. If we talk about consumption, then an average of 8-9 liters. at 100 km/h MOT and service: for all the time nothing has come out yet. Insurance cost us 60,000 rubles. To summarize: the car is good. I love. Never regretted. Outwardly bright, excellent dynamics, high clearance.

The car was originally bought for my wife. Sometimes I drive it too. Since the purchase, we have already dashed off 27 thousand km. The machine is like a complete set: a good leather interior, electric seat adjustment. But here's one BUT: I regret that I took the front-wheel drive, and not the full one. Machine playful, mobile. Economical: at 1.5-2 thousand revolutions, the consumption is about 10 liters. at 100 km/h Comfortable lounge - everything is side by side, I do not reach anywhere. The glove compartment, in my opinion, is roomy, there is even a business card holder). The rear seats are very comfortable for passengers - spacious, plenty of space. The trunk seems to be small, but enough for us. During trips to the country and on vacation - everything you need is placed. On the road keeps perfectly, the brakes are excellent. I took 1.8 - it seems to be normal. There are no shortcomings, in my opinion - everything suits. There are, of course, minor flaws, but this is my personal opinion: - in severe frosts, when you just leave the garage - the rear suspension creaks, but then passes after 20 minutes; - the armrest is too small; - the radio is too quiet ... the volume range is unsuccessful done; - there is still no washer sensor barrel. Well, it seems to be all. In general, I want to say that the machine is reliable, the behavior on the road is excellent, it fully justifies its price. The wife chose the car, saw it, liked it, decided to buy it, in short, bought it blindly, but, nevertheless, we were not at all disappointed in it)) And the wife is still not overjoyed! Good luck to everyone on the road))

I rarely ride this car, I bought it for my wife, but I still managed to understand what kind of car it was. Mileage is already 37,000 km. Complete set, only refused all-wheel drive, regretted the money, but in vain! Active machine! Especially at the start! But at the same time, it is quite economical - 9-10 liters per hundred (when driving city / highway). The interior is well thought out, a rather cozy atmosphere. And the buttons are very large, it's hard not to notice them. The glove compartment is not only roomy, it also has a compartment for business cards and a pen holder, which is convenient. The on-board computer is very informative, looks great on the dashboard. Doors open easily. Rear passengers are very comfortable. I also like that you can get into the trunk directly from the passenger compartment by folding the armrests. The trunk is not particularly large, but I did not buy it for transportation. The brakes are excellent. The management is excellent. There is enough power for overtaking (at first I thought that 1.8 would be rather weak, but it is quite enough). In winter, there are problems due to snow, but I have never got stuck. I did not find obvious jambs, although if you find fault, you can find minor flaws. - I would like to have a tank washer sensor, - there are oddities with the operation of the auto-light function, - the passenger seat heating button went out, I will change it under warranty, - the sound of the wheels is not good, it could have been done better, - in severe frost at the start of the ride when overcoming the recumbents, a creak of the rear suspension was heard, but then it passes, - the radio is very quiet (((, - the fan is very noisy from the middle of the power, - the armrest is small, - and the fog lights were smashed with a stone, they should be made higher. In general, a good car, comfortable , inexpensive to maintain.The wife is delighted with the car!

Landing is really high, which is great! Feel the real satisfaction, sitting in this car! Although, whoever is looking for crickets will find them everywhere! Some still ride in fur coats and earflaps for the north. But the inside of this car is very warm! It's good even when it's -25 outside. At a speed of 120-140 km / h, I even turn off the stove. Pretty good little Japanese crossover. Consumption is just ridiculous! Consumables - cheap! He hit his millionth segment perfectly. Successful in all matters! I think that all ASX owners can be congratulated on a great purchase.

There are almost no cons. After 80,000 I changed the front struts, it seemed to me that there was something wrong with them initially. To all ASX owners, I advise you to change the oil in the box before 100,000 mileage. This will be the key to the subsequent work of the box!
