It is possible to deal with this, but only by increasing the mass of the electrodes, more precisely, their surface area, then the burnout is slower, but the sparking is more sluggish. That is why manufacturers offer candles with three side electrodes - they only affect the resource, and the spark that it was, remains the same. Moreover, an increase in the mass of electrodes in some cases leads to elementary misfires, since the spark becomes colder and is unable to ignite the working mixture.
