In 2017 experts of the Polish magazine Motor have tested Toyo Proxes SF2 at size 205/55 R16 and compared it with eight similar medium class tyres.
Test results
According to the results of the test, Toyo Proxes CF2 took 9th place in the overall standings. Best of all, the tire showed itself in terms of noise level, economy and comfort. On dry pavement, although the tire took low places, its lagging behind the leaders in the results is not significant. But on wet pavement, Toyo SF2 showed a fairly long braking distance and worse resistance to aquaplaning.

In addition to silica and softening components, the composition of the rubber compound contains several types of high-tech polymers: one reduces rolling resistance, saving car fuel while driving, the second increases wear resistance, the third polymer significantly improves grip on wet roads. Pros: I changed the old Kama-Euro tires to Toyo Proxes Sf2. Management has become more responsive. Rubber is quieter, softer, springy. Almost no wear in three seasons. On sharp turns it does not squeal and does not break into a skid. I think, since I'm not going fast, enough for 6 years. Overall, I'm satisfied. Chose based on positive reviews.
Minuses: After changing the tire, the car began to obey better. Unusual. Have to readjust. But this is a good drawback, a positive one.
Impression: Used these tires on a Toyota Vitz. Ride, sold the car. The tire remains. So alive.

Behind: excellent highway tire. It rides like it's on rails, great grip on corners.
