But in fact, the effect is the opposite: in order for the car to “drive”, the engine has to spin up. And the expense runs up no less if there was a unit of the usual volume in the car. What happened in the case of Skoda Yeti?

It turned out as usual: on one side of the engine, a single-wheel drive car is enough to briskly ride around the city, effectively starting from a traffic light under the surprised looks of other drivers. The 7-speed DSG box is quickly mastered, and then, knowing how to manipulate the gas medal, you can rush at high speed. In general, the Skoda Yeti is a rather nimble car that has a low-power engine. The Czechs once again confirm that balance is the most important thing. In this example, we can observe how a car with a weak engine produces high performance.

Having familiarized ourselves with all the technical characteristics, we can take a general look at the interior and finish our review of the Skoda Yeti.

A few words about design

In addition to unusual optics, the Skoda Yeti can be distinguished by such unusual details of appearance as a chopped line of the front part and the roof itself, this car even got an angular front glass. The rear part of the body also cannot boast of a smooth transition of lines, the luggage compartment lid is completely perpendicular to the ground - it resembles the shape of a “heel” car. Nevertheless, the car looks stylish, the latest reystaling brought only positive results for the Skoda Yeti.

The Outdoor modification claims to be an SUV. But what signs of an SUV did she get? There is an unpainted lower part of the body, which is not afraid of chips or scratches. Also, the black bumper adds a bit of "wildness" to the design. What has gone wrong are the protective front and rear bumpers, which do the opposite: any impact against something hard with such "protection" will cause a dent, while the dark plastic would not care.

If we talk about the geometric patency in the Skoda Yeti, then it is quite modest indicators: 26 degrees at the rear and 19.4 at the front. If we compare it with the Nissan Qashqai, then our Bigfoot will be stronger than him in off-road capabilities. An important role is played by the clearance and dimensions of the car, which are suitable for conquering uncharted places.


As for the Yeti's interior, it is made at the highest level even for the most budget configuration - all the necessary elements are at hand, the system control keys are located intuitively. Security systems ABS, ESP, EBD are present, which is important. A driver under two meters tall can comfortably sit behind the wheel - there is a lot of free space for both passengers and the driver. His seat is fully adjustable, as is the steering wheel.

We have studied all the important aspects of this Skoda model. Of the main advantages of the Yeti, one can single out a huge trunk, an affordable waste of gasoline, dimensions, excellent dynamics and a spacious interior. The car does not have high power, it is a calm and safe helper for the family. High clearance allows you to go on easy off-road and not be afraid of curbs when parking. But this Yeti is a city car that loves to get out into nature.
