True, we note that only 2.0 liter engines are presented in Russia, and the 1.8-liter unit "remained in China."

The fuel consumption of both turbocharged units averages about 7.7 liters per 100 km, but the atmospheric one is “gluttonous” by 1 liter.

The choice of gearboxes for buyers of the JAC S5 crossover is very meager - and this is a big minus, especially for Russia, where the popularity of "automatic machines" is growing like "mushrooms after the rain." In general, only a manual transmission is available for the JAC S5 (5-speed “mechanics” for an atmospheric engine and 6-speed for turbocharged ones) ... In general, if you look at the photographs, then everything is done in a fairly high-quality style. Paying attention to the dashboard, you get the feeling that it is "hanging" in the air. After all, an average power unit is installed here, the only (which is good) manual gearbox, only front-wheel drive.
