Genuine Toyota oils

Properties and use of original oils

Of course, the lubricant should only be original, the use of fakes is unacceptable.
Toyota 5w30
100% synthetic. Its properties and impeccable quality are confirmed by the international API standard. The lubricant can be used in the most modern vehicles regardless of the fuel used. It fully protects diesel power plants.
I must say that this oil has become one of the best not only for Toyota. It works great in machines of other well-known brands:
- Porsche;
- Volkswagen;
The composition has excellent fluidity, withstands temperature fluctuations, functions without problems in a wide range of temperature indicators - from +40 to -35 degrees. Even at minus 30 it does not become thick. As a result, the pump quickly pumps lubricant to all engine components, the car starts very easily.
Sometimes on the market you can find car oil labeled 5W40. This type is considered slightly "outdated". The characteristics and technological performance of the original 5W30 oil are much higher. But if for some reason there was no composition with a viscosity of 5W30 in the store, you can safely pour 5W40. The engine will also run normally.
Toyota 0W30
The manufacturer recommends using a lubricant with a similar viscosity index in diesel units, as well as gasoline engines. Such a viscosity coefficient allows the oil not to thicken even at sub-zero temperatures. As a result, the engine starts freely in the winter cold.
It was specially developed for vehicles that are constantly operated in the Far North. There is always a very low temperature here, reaching minus 50. The properties allow you to withstand such frosts and demonstrate your maximum efficiency.
The quality of Toyota 0W30 has been approved by leading auto manufacturers. The oil has the following approvals:
- ACEA.
In Russia, this lubricant is not very popular. The reason is its cost. For one liter you have to pay 800 rubles. Drivers who use Toyota 0W30 only speak positively about it.
When choosing a car oil for summer or winter, it is important to purchase a lubricant that has an optimal viscosity suitable for the motor. To simplify the selection of lubricant, you can use the information contained in the operating instructions for the car. This manual describes the parameters of the recommended engine oil for Toyota Corolla.
Model 1995 release
The selection of engine oil is carried out taking into account the type of car engine.
Petrol power units

According to this scheme, for the winter, when the air temperature is below +8 0 C, it is better to use motor fluids with a viscosity parameter of 5w-30. The use of lubricants with a viscosity of 10w-30, 15w-40 or 20w-50 is advisable at temperatures above -18 0 C; in lower temperature conditions, the use of these oils will lead to poor engine start and increase fuel mixture consumption.

- in a wide temperature range, from -30 0 C (or less) to +40 0 C (or more), 5w-30 is used (except for model 4A-GE).
Diesel car engines
According to the manual for Toyota Corolla, it is recommended to use CD, CE or CF oil type according to API classification. The viscosity of lubricating fluids for models up to 1995 is selected according to scheme 1, and for complete sets from 1995, the selection of viscosity parameters is performed according to scheme 3.

- 2.7 l with oil filter;
- 2.5 liters excluding oil filter.
- Motors 4E-FE or 5E-FE:
- 2.8 l with filter change;
- 2.6 liters without changing the oil filter.
- Auto engines 5A-FE, 4A-FE (2WD):
- 3.0 l including oil filter;
- 2.8 liters without changing the oil filter.
- Power units 7A-FE:
- 3.7 l with oil filter;
- 3.5 without replacing the filter unit.
- 4A-GE engines:
- 3.0 l with filter change;
- 2.8 liters without changing the oil filter.
- Power units 2C (until 1994):
- 4.7 l with oil filter;
- 4.2 liters without oil filter.
- 2C (from 1994 to 1995):
- 4.3 l with filter change;
- 3.6 liters excluding oil filter.
- Power units 2C (since 1995 2WD):
- 4.1 l with oil filter change;
- 3.4 liters without changing the oil filter.
- 2C engines (since 1995 4WD):
- 4.4 l with oil filter;
- 3.7 liters without oil filter.
- Motors 3C-E(2WD):
- 5.1 l with oil filter;
- 4.4 l without filter device.
- Powertrains 3C-E(4WD):
- 4.9 with oil filter replacement;
- 4.2 liters without changing the oil filter.
Toyota Corolla E110,E111 1997-2002
Car photo According to the operating instructions for the machine, the recommended engine oil for Toyota Corolla is selected according to the type of engine. For 2E 1.3l power units, CD, CE or CF motor oils must be used in accordance with the API system or lubricants of a higher quality class. The recommended lubrication density is shown in Diagram 4.

In the case of 4E-FE 1.3L power units, it is recommended to use SG, SF or higher oil type according to API requirements. The viscosity of the motor fluid is selected according to scheme 5.

For 4ZZ-FE 1.4 liter Toyota Corolla engines, oils of at least SJ class according to the API system must be used. You can also use energy-saving motor oils with the inscription "Energy Conserving" on the canister. The density of the recommended motor oil is selected according to scheme 6.

The volume of engine fluid required for replacement is:
- Auto engines 2E 1.3l and 4E-FE 1.3l:
- 3.2 l with oil filter change;
- 2.9 liters excluding oil filter.
- Motors 4ZZ-FE 1.4l:
- 3.7 l with oil filter change;
- 3.5 excluding oil filter.
Toyota Corolla E120, E130 2001-2007 release
Model year 2006 For Toyota Corolla, the manufacturer recommends using original Toyota Genuine Motor Oil lubricants. The vehicle manufacturer also allows the use of alternative oils that are of appropriate quality. Engine oil requirements:
- All-weather motor fluids SL or SM according to API classification with a viscosity of 20w-50 or 15w-40;
- Motor oils with a viscosity of 10w-50 or 15w-40 of the SL or SM class according to API classification with the inscription "Energy Conserving", which means energy-saving.
- Multi-purpose lubricants certified by ILSAC.
To select the viscosity of motor lubricant, scheme 7 is used.

At temperatures above -18 0 C, the manufacturer recommends using engine oils with viscosity indices of 10w-30, 15w-40 or 20w-50.
Refueling volumes
The approximate amount of engine fluid needed to raise the level between the low and full levels on the dipstick is 1.5 liters. The volume of engine oil required when changing is 4.2 liters including the oil filter and 4.0 liters without changing the oil filter.
Toyota Corolla E140, E150 2006-2013 release
Model year 2008 Petrol power units
The recommended engine oil for Toyota Corolla is selected based on the type of car engine. For gasoline engines, it is recommended to use motor oils with a viscosity of 15w-40 or 20w-50, corresponding to the SL or SM category according to API classification.
For 4ZZ-FE engines, oils must comply with SAE 10w-30 or 5w-30, also be ILSAC certified and meet SL "Energy Conserving" or SM "Energy Conserving". Viscosity selection is performed according to scheme 8.

Fuel economy and a good engine start in cold weather are facilitated by the use of motor oils with a viscosity of 5w-30. For regions in which the air temperature outside the machine is above -18 0 С, it is permissible to fill in lubricants 10w-30, 15w-40 or 20w-50. In the absence of 5w-30, it is permissible to fill in 10w-30, but the next time it is replaced, it must be changed to 5w-30.

When choosing a lubricant viscosity for a 1ZR-FE engine, use scheme 9.

Diesel car engines
For models 1ND-TV, ADE150L-AEFNYW and ADE150R-AEFNYW *, lubricants must be used that comply with ACEA class B1 and API CF-4 or CF oil type. It is also possible to apply the CE and CD classes in accordance with the API regulations. The viscosity of the oil is selected according to scheme 9.
In the case of 1AD-FTV models (model ADE150L-AEFNXW *), it is necessary to fill in ACEA oil class C2, in the absence of these lubricants, it is permissible to use ACEA B1. To select the viscosity of the lubricant, scheme 10 is used.

- 4ZZ-FE auto engines:
- 4.2 l with oil filter;
- 4.0 liters without changing the oil filter.
- Motors 1ZR-FE:
- 4.2 liters if you take into account the filter;
- 3.9 liters excluding oil filter.
- Power units 1ND-TV:
- 4.3 liters if you take into account the filter;
- 3.8 liters without oil filter.
- 1AD-FTV engines:
- 6.3 liters with oil filter change;
- 5.9 liters without changing the oil filter.
The maximum oil consumption is 1l / 1 thousand km. The approximate amount of lubricant required for its level to occupy the middle position between the upper and lower marks on the dipstick is:
- 1.5 l for 4ZZ-FE and 1ZR-FE engines;
- 1.8 l for 1ND-TV motors;
- 1.7 liters in the case of 1AD-FTV power units.
Toyota Corolla E160, E170 since 2012 release
Model 2014 release Gasoline motors
Manufacturer's requirements for engine oil for Toyota Corolla:
- original motor fluids "Toyota Genuine Motor Oil" or other motor oils of the appropriate quality (possibly with tolerances on the canister);
- motor oil viscosity 0w-20, 5w-30, 10w-30 and lubrication class SL "Energy Conserving" or SM "Energy Conserving";
- ILSAC universal motor fluid with a viscosity of 15w-40;
- universal motor fluids of class SL, SN, SM according to API classification.
Viscosity selection is performed using scheme 11.

According to scheme 11, it is preferable to use 0w-20 motor oils, in their absence it is permissible to fill in 0w-30, which must be changed to 0w-20 upon subsequent replacement. When using 10w-30 or 15w-40 oils in cold weather (temperatures below -18 0 C), fuel consumption may increase and the engine start may deteriorate.
Diesel engines
Engine fluid requirements:
- Toyota Genuine Motor Oil branded motor oils or alternative lubricants of the appropriate quality;
- grease class C2 according to ACEA.
When choosing viscosity, use scheme 12.
