On the Internet, from the many different designs of trikes, you can choose the one that you like best. The drawn drawing in 1:1 scale will make it easier for you to assemble the frame. According to the drawing laid out on the floor, as if according to a sketch, it is convenient to assemble individual structural elements.
People with a good eye can ignore this point.
It would be nice to have a pipe bender. With it, it is easier to assemble an unusual bike with your own hands. You can, of course, not complicate the work, but assemble the rear frame of the buggy from straight pipes. But if there is a pipe bender, then you can bend the pipes for a more perfect frame, for example, make arcs in the corners to strengthen the structure. Of the tools, in any case, you will need a welding machine.
After finishing welding, you need to try on two small wheels on the finished frame. They can be taken ready-made, for example, from a cart, or cut from wooden bars. The dimensions of the wheels are chosen as follows: width - 3.5 inches, diameter is approximately the same. In order for the rear rollers to glide better, a piece of large-diameter PVC water pipe is put on them.

To support the legs, the easiest way is to wind the pegs on the axle of the front wheel, or you can weld two pieces of pipe onto the fork legs. In general, the work is creative and definitely exciting.
After assembling the rear chassis, you can install a comfortable seat, which can be a plastic chair or a small chair. You can get by with a car tire, as a young inventor from Lipetsk did.
After the test runs, we correct minor errors, or rather, we customize the trike for ourselves. If necessary, we grind the welding seams and paint in the final.
First stall
When the trike is ready, you want to get the most out of it. No matter how unbearable you are to ride, imagine what can happen when you drive it into a pothole. When jumping into a hole, the drift bike always flips over. Without equipment, when falling at high speed, the rider is erased on the asphalt like an eraser. Competitions "DRIFT-TRIKE battle Belarus" were conceived to spread the drift-trike culture, the main idea of which is the development and popularization of drift-triking as a sport. There is a desire of the organizers in Belarus to reach the level of European countries, where drift-triking is developed at a high level.
The organizers of this new direction are representatives of three teams from different cities of the republic, and the first competitions were held in 2018 in Minsk at one of the capital's autodromes.

Initially, New Zealand is considered the birthplace of the drift trike, where the first riders began to descend from the tops of the mountains, in the so-called downhill, on children's tricycles equipped with plastic wheels, due to which traction was lost, and a skid appeared, it's drift.
The Belarusian trikes are equipped with an internal combustion engine, and the design is a kind of hybrid, where the back is from a kart, and the front is from a bicycle / motorcycle. Sliders are stretched on the rear axle over the karting wheels, which reduce traction. They are also made from PVC pipes. Engine power averages from 6.5 to 13 hp. Engines are installed from karts, motoblocks, motor pumps, scooters and light motorcycles, although there are completely crazy models with an engine from a 1000 cm3 sports motorcycle.
The rules and regulations of the competition are almost identical to the rules of car drifting. Everything happens, as in big motorsport: training, qualification and paired races in the TOP. All this is evaluated by the judges.

This year, DRIFT TRIKE BATTLE promises to become international, because teams from Russia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Ukraine submitted applications, such teams as Drift Trike Brest, Drift Trike Gomel, Drift Trike Minsk, Tornado Trikes, Ride, K&S motorsport, VTK-Drift , DAV-Customs and others.
