The second generation Accent had three versions:

Since 2001, Hyundai Accent has been produced at the Taganrog Automobile Plant.
In 2003, the third generation comes. The novelty has received changes, both in terms of design and in the technical part. The most likely Russian candidates for the near future are glass and electrical wiring harnesses.

The most noticeable difference between today's Accent and the 2003 car is its appearance. The motor also entailed changes in the transmission. On cars with a manual transmission, a reinforced clutch mechanism is now installed - the diameter of the driven disk has been increased from 200 to 215 mm. Until the end of 2006, there will be no radical changes in the Taganrog "accents". Restyling of the Korean car in 2005, most likely, will not affect Russian "accents". So far, both old and new body parts are being produced. But if Korea stops stamping the old ones, then the Russians will get cars with a different design.

We remove the arrows with a screwdriver. Some use a hair dryer for this, but as practice shows, after its application, chips may appear, so it is best to remove them in a cold state.
The tachometer needle may come out with a needle, but there is nothing wrong with that. In general, the arrows are removed easily and are just as easy to put in place.

Set the arrow to zero. First, the arrow is strung to the half-tank position, it will gradually crawl to the upper or lower limiter, quickly remove it and put it back in place.
We do this until she runs away. After that, you can confidently fix it to "zero". The speedometer needle is set as necessary and we leave to measure the speed. This will require another vehicle. We remember how much the arrow indicates the wrong speed. We remove the panel itself, then the device and on its back we find the internal rotating part, with a screwdriver we press it so that it does not rotate with the arrow and make the necessary adjustments.
