What stands out engine oil for Mazda. What kind of oil to fill in the engine? Mazda oil fake - external distinguishing features

16.10.2019

The fact that I fake everything and everything we already know. It is especially disappointing when you not only overpaid for a fake, but thereby also aggravated what depended on this fake. This can be attributed to motor oil, when at first I overpaid, and then I also paid for paying for the wrong thing. After all, you can’t deceive the engine, and lubricating properties and additives will not appear from an unreasonable overpayment, they either exist or not. As a result, the quality of engine oil will affect the life of the engine. That is why you need to clearly understand what you are still pouring into the belly of your car. In this article we will talk about expensive branded oils and their fakes. After all, it is these oils that are most profitable to fake, which means that you can often find fakes on them. Here it should be noted that in our country, even for obviously fake oils, there can be “clean” documents, such a paradox. That is, it is pointless to look at certificates and similar pieces of paper, you must be prepared to refuse oil in the store based on the criteria for the appearance of the package and label. But what these criteria will be, we will talk about this later ...

Let's say right away if you come to the store unprepared, you may not even be able to distinguish a fake from the original. That is why it is important to know what to look for.

Mazda engine oil, how to distinguish from a fake

Non-original Mazda oil greatly compromises print quality. The original label is rich in halftones, the fake one obviously did not work out as it should. First of all, a weak contrast can be distinguished. Just look at the small details - at the spot marked with a blue arrow (original). On a fake it is almost invisible. Actually, like the inscriptions “zoom-zoom”.

Further. The original label is drawn in vector format, that is, with smooth, clear edges. Fake - a clear scan from the original, with blurry ones. Where there should be clear transition boundaries (white letters on a black background), they are not clear. Along the border, mixed pixels of the "transition" are clearly visible. And the letter U generally fit and mixed with the letters Z and D. Naturally, this is not on the original oil canister.

Plugs are the most significant difference between Nissan and Mazda fakes of oil cans. Apparently, in order to increase profitability and reduce labor costs, the criminals made only one mold for releasing corks, and it is very similar to Toyota. At Mazda, the center of the lid should be with a recess of three, and on the petals, for which the central part is pulled out, there are 4 recesses for bending.

The fake lid is just flat.
The fake back sticker has a two-layer structure (some people consider this proof of the original). In fact, this is fake. In the original canister, the bottom layer is cut off already in the place where you have to pick it up with your finger. Fake doesn't have that.

And in general, the quality of surface pasting is worse - there may be waves on the label, sand, dust under the sticker.
By themselves, fake canisters are made of less quality than the original. The described signs are more than enough to distinguish the left Dexelia from the real one - the original one.
Here are a few more signs with pictures on how to distinguish a fake from the original.

It seems like little things, but the main thing is not in them, but in what is in this canister !?

Nissan engine oil, how to distinguish from a fake

As for Nissan, the main difference is in the same traffic jam. We talked about this above.

Although, of course, there are more than enough other little things that are worth paying attention to ...

Basically it is poor print quality and inconsistency in the casting of the canister.

Toyota engine oil, how to distinguish from a fake

Toyota oil clearly has a cheaper plastic canister ("wrinkled", a slightly different color), fuzzy stamping of displacement and measuring strip.

Here are photos from one of the forums. But keep in mind that Toyota has a wide list of oils, and, for example, the cork on the original 0w30 is almost indistinguishable from a fake one and does not have the seal shown in the picture.

It is clearly seen that the color of the canister is different. The photo does not convey all the shades, but in life it will be striking.
Some of the oil from Toyota was even with erroneous labels. Perhaps they were not scanned like Mazda's, but painted in Photoshop or something similar. The manufacturer's country was written from the lantern.

GM engine oil, how to distinguish from a fake

The oil is very popular with Chevrolet car owners. Pay attention to the canister. It is the container that fails most often, as in the cases above. Flash and under-twisted cork. Not neat canister shapes with different casting thicknesses. The walls are thick, but in the corners the plastic is so thin that it easily bends inward at the touch of a finger.

The lower part does give out a fake. See how the seam is made on the fake oil canister on the right.

You don't even have to be an expert here. It is better to refuse such GM oil.

It is with Toyota motor oils that the problems are the most. Apparently, the volumes of production and sales are the most significant, which means that fakes are more than the rest here.
We didn't mention Mobil, Castrol and others. Here you also need to be careful and proceed from the criteria for the quality of packaging, labels.
It is best to have an original canister to compare what you are going to buy. This will at least to some extent warn you against fakes, which means it will protect your car from a low-quality product, and you from problems with it.

The dream of any car owner is high-quality oil. But it is not always possible to purchase a product with the necessary indicators, as the market is teeming with counterfeit products. Let's try to figure out how to distinguish a fake Mazda oil from the original product. It’s worth considering right away that in an attempt to save money and find a suitable car oil at a low price, you can easily purchase a low-quality product that has nothing to do with the original.

Market risks of acquiring a fake

Low-quality consumables are purchased at modest and attractive prices, and this is what scammers need. They try to line their pockets at the expense of gullible car owners who believe that branded oil with the desired properties is purchased from unauthorized persons. But it's not. Such a purchase will result in serious problems during the operation of the car, because counterfeit products are made from low-quality raw materials.

Since not every car owner knows what differences exist between Mazda branded oil and a surrogate, cases of customer fraud are steadily increasing. Resourceful "dealers" "slip" fake engine oil, and as a result, it slowly but surely leads the car's propulsion system to breakdown. As a result of the use of low-grade motor oil, when starting the power unit, extraneous noise and contamination of the gas distribution system may occur.

The cost of repair work will cost a significant amount. At the same time, the technological parameter of the engine plays an important role in determining the repair price, since the more complex the power unit, the higher the price indicators for its restoration. What is most unpleasant is that it will not be possible to make a claim to the seller of the surrogate, and the car owner will have to pay for troubleshooting in the propulsion system of the car.

Ideally, all lubricants should be purchased from officials, at trusted points of sale, according to someone's recommendations. In this case, it is necessary to request all the documentation and carefully read it.

It is worth remembering that promotions with a discount of up to 90% do not exist - these are miracles, not reality. A suspiciously low price should be alarming. Each oil product has its own value. Genuine products have a number of distinctive characteristics: technical regulations, documentation, tags, and so on. Most importantly, when buying, you should check for the presence of such insignia.

Fake Mazda motor lubricant has a sad print quality. The original sticker has rich and bright colors, many halftones and transitions. In a fake, everything is faded and smeared or defiantly bright, that is, the contrast is in a terrible state. The corporate label is drawn with smooth and clear edges. Counterfeit looks like a scan of the original, which in most cases happens.

You can distinguish fake canisters with Mazda lubricant by a cork. Malefactors try to save on the produced cork and have only one variety in their composition. The cap of scammers is similar to the cap of a Toyota. At the Mazda element, the center of the cover is deepened.

The back label of the information sticker has a two-layer structure, which is difficult to fake, but possible. The main difference of the original label is that the bottom layer is already cut off, where the consumer must pick it up with his finger. The fake one doesn't.

A fake canister is also determined by the quality of the surface pasting. On the left tag, there are often pollution, waves, dust, that is, traces of "handicraft" work. When the label is torn off, traces of the adhesive substance will remain on the fake canister, and it will come off with effort, since the glue is used differently.

All the reliefs on the original are softened, while on the fake container they are sharp and angular, since the technical equipment of the counterfeit shops leaves much to be desired. Particular attention should be paid to the barcode - it was to minimize the risks that you purchase a fake and this security element was created.

The described signs of poor quality work are enough to determine the falsification. The main thing is to always carefully examine the purchased product for suspicious signs. If the oil has already been bought, but still arouses suspicion, you can try to navigate by sight and smell - by default, Mazda branded auto oil does not have a pungent odor or cloudy structure.

Good day to all! After reading this article, you will learn how to recognize a fake Mazda oil using the Mazda Original Oil Ultra 5W30 product as an example. What made me write this article? Yesterday, at the end of the working day, a client from another city came to our office for original Mazda oil. He ended the warranty service and had an independent oil change in the internal combustion engine. He took the choice of oil very seriously. This was indicated by the presence of instructions from the Internet, printed on several sheets of paper. We checked our oil canister according to his instructions and came to the conclusion that our oil is real. Today I decided to make one myself. I contacted oil suppliers, found out everything and summarized everything in this material.

Mazda oil fake - external distinguishing features

In order not to run into counterfeit Mazda oil, you need to take the product only in trusted places. You need to choose an oil according to the recommendations of friends or based on your own experience. But what if none of the above is present? Then our instructions will help you, with which you can easily distinguish original Mazda oil from a fake. So let's get started.

First of all, you need to take the canister in your hands and carefully examine it. First of all, inspect the lid. It should be with a recess and a small raised dot in the center. If the lid is not like that, then feel free to refuse oil - in front of you is an outright fake.

The next step is to evaluate the print quality. There are a lot of halftones on the original label. This is very much a fake. The pirates were never able to achieve high-quality printing. On the original canister, the inscription ZOOM-ZOOM is barely noticeable. But with fake oil, it catches the eye very well. A similar situation with spots on the upper left corner. All contrast transitions from white to black are not clear. This is due to the fact that the original image was vector before printing. And the Mazda oil fake used, most likely, a scan. Here is another significant difference.

We move on. Now you need to inspect the back of the canister. In addition to print quality, pay attention to the bottom backing of the label. The fact is that the Mazda Dexelia Ultra 5W30 oil back label consists of two layers. On the original, the top layer of the back label comes off easily. For a fake - with some effort, and paint remains on a white background.

These are the three main signs by which you can easily distinguish real Mazda oil from a fake. Now let's look at a few more small distinguishing features. Relief line. On a fake canister there is a strongly convex embossed line, and on the original it is less noticeable.

There are codes on the back of fake oil, but they should not be on the original. The embossing on the bottom of the cans is very different:

In addition to these signs, you should pay attention to the barcode. There were several cases when the fake was absolutely no different from the original. Mazda issued fake oil only with a barcode. Pirates mistakenly missed one thick line between the numbers 5 and 0

This is how it should be:

How to distinguish a fake Mazda oil by the external signs of the oil itself?

There are also a couple of distinguishing features of the liquid itself, which is poured into cans. Firstly, real Mazda Original Ultra oil has a translucent light pink color. Fake is very different:

Secondly, fake Mazda oil has a pungent odor, but the original does not.

And at the very end of the article, I would like to note that the oils themselves are not faked. As a rule, in the original canisters there is simply cheaper oil. This oil will not break the engine, but who wants to be deceived? After inspecting the canister, pay attention to possible defects. It is important to pay attention to the traces of the autopsy. Perhaps you will have the original canister in your hands, but there will be another oil inside. That's all, I hope this material will be useful to you and you can easily distinguish fake Mazda oil from a fake. Mazda Original Oil Ultra 5W-30 - original - logbook Mazda 3 2.0 sport 2008 on DRIVE2

On the speedometer a little more than 85,000, a scheduled oil change is approaching. At first I wanted to order oil and filter in existential as usual, but something stopped me. There was a desire to look at alternative options.

In the process of searching for different options, I accidentally stumbled upon a record of Mazda Original Oil Ultra 5W-30 - a fake. After reading, he immediately took out a canister from the last bay and began to frantically study it. Everything turned out to be OK, I filled in the original oil (although I took it in existential).

Many write on the Internet that they were unlucky, so I decided not to tempt fate and buy oil offline. For this, an auto shop was chosen (simply because it is nearby). While I was studying the canister in detail, the sales assistant began to desperately convince me that it was 100% original and immediately warned that the canister had changed a little. Actually, I share these changes.

On the front side below the date of production, in black letters. The sticker should not be easily torn off, in the original it is glued so that it cannot be torn off, it will tear. The stickers are of good quality and clearly printed.

There is no date on the bottom of the back. The sticker is similarly glued tightly (lower second layer with a detailed description).

The outline of the triangle should be barely visible.

The barcode must be scanned and display the brand of oil in the search results.

Tapered neck shape.

The lid is depressed, with 4 recesses for bending.

The slot showing the oil level is gradually expanding at the top.

The bottom of the original canisters is made differently. For example, in last year's canister, instead of the inscription Plysu, I have a square (as in many photos on the Internet). There are also a couple of other minor differences. As I understand it, the difference is that these are different manufacturers of canisters.

Update 02.07.15

I decided to read on SABZH what else people write in the world. There was a lot to read and watch. Someone puts bottles of oil in the freezer, and then someone else boils this oil on the stove. In general, everyone checks in their own way. At the same time, judging by the photo, there are at least three versions of canisters. There are options when the canister has signs of both the original and the fake.

After reading all this horror, I decided to study the contents of the canisters in order to finally calm down and close this issue. As a result, I got two old canisters from the balcony, plus the one in the photo above.

After a detailed visual inspection and comparison of all oils (including by smell), the following was revealed:

1 - from the year before last Dexelia Ultra (red sticker), 2 - Original Oil Ultra bought by me a year ago, 3 - Original Oil Ultra bought recently (pictured above).

As you can see from the photo, the oil is absolutely identical in all 3 cases in color. The smell and consistency are similar, a complete coincidence (I didn’t taste it, I left it on the conscience of those cooking on the stove). Conclusion: the oil in the photo is certainly original. Therefore, you can focus on this canister when buying.

p.s. Unfortunately, the oil I bought was produced in 2014 (as it turned out). There may be new differences in the 2015 canister. Compare next year. All the best and good luck on the road!

Oil Mazda Original oil Ultra - f furnace, what to choose. -DRIVE2

It describes what's inside with a dexos2 clearance, no gossip! of

Motor oil is one of the consumables, the quality of which directly affects the life of the motor. Unfortunately, very often it is the lubricant that is faked, and this applies to both various brands of lubricants and original oils. In this case, we will figure out how to distinguish fake Mazda oil. To do this, we will conduct a short review of oils for Mazda cars.

Before us are 3 canisters of different years of manufacture:

  • Original Mazda dexelia oil canister purchased from an authorized dealer in 2017.
  • Canister sample of previous years, purchased in an online store.
  • And a liter canister bought back in 2104.

From them you can understand how changes were made in order to protect themselves from counterfeit products for Mazda engines. After all, oil in old-style canisters (2016 and later) is almost never found in the original - everything is a fake, although it is worth noting that it was made quite high quality (only with minor flaws). But over time, they will probably learn how to make new canisters, so in 2018 or 2019 they will probably change something in order to better protect the authenticity of Mazda engine oil. But at the moment, you should pay attention to the quality of the canister, dates, barcodes, the balance scale, and the quality of the label.

canister

For comparison, the first thing you need to pay attention to on a non-original canister is manufacture of the container. She looks down. We look at the date of bottling the oil, which is indicated at the bottom of the container. Coincides with the date of manufacture indicated on the canister itself, for example, the canister was made in April, and the oil was poured in May (on the contrary, it would not be logical and it would be worth thinking about originality). When the date of manufacture of the canister and bottling differ by two years, then you also need to be vigilant, the original could have already changed the design for such a long time (no more than six months is allowed).

Label

Let's look at the label on the back of the canister. She should peel off easily. In 2017, the manufacturer created a new packaging for oils to avoid mass fakes. On the canister of the sample of previous years, the back sticker is peeled off from the right corner. The reverse side is all smooth, glue on the label around the edges, applied with dots. Until the end does not peel off, hangs on it. On new packages, a corner, which you need to pull to peel off the label - on the left.

On a fake, the entire label is sticky, like electrical tape, easily completely comes off the canister.

You need to pay attention to the covers. Recesses in the lids - an indicator of the original canister. In this case, the fake is made very well, and the plastic is of high quality. Although the porous structure of the plastic is visible and gives out a fake. On the original canister, the plastic is smooth.

At the time of buying pay attention to the barcode. The last 4 solid lines are an indicator of originality.

You also need to pay attention to the pointers. On new canisters, the oil level can be viewed on a strip on the side of the lid. On all old canisters - on the opposite side. On a fake, this scale is not working at all (although it is allegedly present), the oil level is not visible.

There was official information from the representative office of Mazda Ukraine about fake Mazda Original Oil engine oil.

Fake motor oil has appeared in wide sale in Ukraine. The level of execution of the fake is quite good. The packaging design is very similar to the original motor oil.

What is inside?
The original engine oil is intended for filling in Mazda car engines, developed with the participation of the company's designers and provides optimal lubricating properties of parts throughout the entire service interval. Having carried out a chemical analysis fake oil Mazda Original Oil, experts came to the conclusion that it does not even meet the minimum standards that the modern automotive industry imposes on oils of this level. The fake is the lowest quality mineral motor oil! Oils of this level are characterized by extremely low stability of their characteristics and a high degree of volatility. In the case of the use of such engine oil in modern engines, it leads to accelerated wear of friction parts, the formation of slag, soot and other sparingly soluble deposits. This significantly reduces the resource of the engine of your car, increases the likelihood of its failure.

Below are the main differences of the original oil canister, which produced by TOTAL, and packaging with counterfeit motor oil.

A fake jar of oil can be identified by a number of signs that are visible upon its detailed examination.

On a fake can, the date and lot number are missing or printed in such a way that it is impossible to identify the product from them. On the original can of oil, all designations are printed in black or green computer print, where they are clearly marked:

  • Code of the manufacturer's plant and product;
  • Date of manufacture of engine oil;
  • Party number.

Fig.1 On the left is the original oil, and on the right is a fake.

In addition, there is a noticeable difference in the quality of the image of the labels. The fake label image (on the right in Fig. 1) was printed from a scanned original label (and not from the original layout prepared by the designers). This was noticeably reflected in the quality of the printed fake oil label:

  • Fuzzy color transfer printing on a fake canister.
  • The overflow of the wave color in the upper left corner on the fake label is darkened and is not fully displayed as on the original one. (Fig1.)

Fig. 2 On a fake label, the letters ZOOM-ZOOM are blurred and not clearly printed

For the reasons indicated above, the ZOOM-ZOOM slogan on the fake oil label is not very clear and is less contrasting against the black label. The letters are non-uniform - spotty dark areas are noticeable, and the letters also have uneven, "torn" edges. On the original label, all the letters are even and uniform - without spots and color overflows.

On the back of the canister, there is a noticeable difference in text and graphic elements. For example, there is no "exclamation point" marking in the diamond. In addition, the shape of the back label is different: the bottom white sticker, which is located under the top black front sticker, repeats the almost square shape of the top black label on the fake. In the original, the white label has a noticeably rounded lower right corner.

Fig. 3 On the left is the original oil, on the right is a fake in which the lower label is made in the form of the upper one.

Also pay attention to the quality of the plastic of the fake canister. So on a fake, low-quality plastic is used, as well as a mold for casting. As a result, fuzzy casting lines are noticeable, an increased porosity of the material visible to the naked eye. In Figure 4, you can clearly see the difference in prints when casting a fake canister.

Fig. 4 On the left is the original oil, on the right is a fake.

A characteristic difference between fake oil is also a cork. It is universal and even on a fake canister. On the original can of oil, the cork has a noticeable depression in the central part.

Fig. 5 On the left is the original canister and cork, on the right is a fake.

Fig. 6 On the left is the original canister and cork, on the right is a fake.

Differences are also noticeable at the bottom of a fake canister. There is a noticeable difference in the designation of the date of production of the canister. Like most counterfeit canisters, to make the process easier, it is made using a separate print with an arrow that indicates the date of production. During the production process, the cases move this hand to any date they need to print. Such additional, separate application of plastic on the date of production is strictly prohibited in the legal industrial production of plastic containers. On the original canister, such an imprint of production is made clearly in a single mold for casting a canister, without additional applications or seals.

Be vigilant. Do not buy products from questionable points of sale. And check the goods at the time of purchase!
