It consumes 15 liters in the city - the norm for a leisurely ride, while on the highway everything is fine from 7 to 8 liters, again, if you are not in a hurry. The 17th radius is contraindicated for a heavy station wagon, preferably the 16th with higher tires. I have already thrown away two wheels, this is not a cheap pleasure. Light skin and children are incompatible things. As for consumer properties, I am satisfied. 5 people sit moderately comfortably, at least 2 hours can sit quietly. 300 kg of cargo plus my weight - I'm lucky. The trunk of the Chevrolet Cruze SW is comfortable, everything folds and unfolds as it should. According to the dynamics: it accelerates sadly, while it buzzes a lot. Dynamic overtaking is not his forte, but on the empty track you can go very quickly, the road keeps amazingly. Goes 200 km / h on the speedometer. If you need a family station wagon, then you can safely take it. At least I'm satisfied.

I will say right away that you will not find a car in full stuffing cheaper than the Chevrolet Cruze SW (before that there was a “ten” and a “Kia Rio”). The car looks modern, beauty - well, I, in general, really like it. At first glance, I can say that the machine works stupidly, but if you get used to it, then it’s normal (you just need to feel the box). There are a lot of places in the Chevrolet Cruze SW, I am 191 cm tall and there is still a large reserve, though behind me the same tall one will not feel comfortable. It comes into turns like a glove (plays a lot of weight), the steering wheel is very sensitive and light, it lies well in the hand. Music plays with a bang, the display is touch-sensitive and, despite the regular speakers, they play not badly. There are a lot of necessary and unnecessary functions (for example, I don’t need a light sensor, but cruise control helps a lot on a long journey). Well, with a complete set, I think, everyone chooses for himself according to his possibilities. About consumption: at first, the onboard one showed 17 liters in mixed mode, now 9.7 and keeps it that way to this day - this is in a mixed cycle with periodic switching on of the climate. I measured how much it eats on the highway - it’s real (it was very interesting, because they write that the Chevrolet Cruze SW eats “in three throats”). In general, in fact, for 268 km I ate 19 liters. This means that the consumption on the highway was 7 liters per 100 km, there were also traffic jams, so for me these are acceptable numbers, and I don’t know how to drive so that I can eat 15 liters each. I can say this about the suspension: small bumps, crossings, it flies by unnoticed (the 17th radius plays its role), big bumps at a speed of 20-30 km / h break through and it’s not very pleasant, who drives around Moscow and doesn’t go to the side of the road, that like everything. I have not found any cons in the car yet - I have owned it for a month. I hope this review helps those who have doubts about the Chevrolet Cruze SW.

I want to highlight the handling, it is at its best, none of my previous cars steered so well, the turns pass like on rails even at 140-160 km, no rolls or demolitions. Reliable suspension, our roads are not very good, I flew into pits at speeds over 140, the wheels became square, but everything is fine with the suspension. I loaded 300-400 kg into the car, I didn’t strike the bottom anywhere. Warm, I went to Vilyuysk at -50, it's hot in the cabin, it starts up without problems at -35, the 3-mode seat heating warms up with a bang, you sit like in a frying pan. The interior warms up fairly quickly. As for me, a stylish design, the exterior is also not boring. With my build of 116 kg and 188 height, it is comfortable to sit, even behind you, the steering wheel adjustments for height and reach help. The seats are also adjustable in height, except that the central gearbox panel is too wide, I touch my knee. Practical interior, plastic is easy to clean, almost does not get dirty and does not tear, unlike light velor on previous cars.

About the cons. The main disadvantage is the engine, no, it is not problematic, the usual "aspirated" 1.6 l, 124 hp. it’s just not enough for a car weighing over 1.4 tons. It is a pity that a weak engine spoils such a perfect taxiing. Strongly tightens the glass, both in frost and in rain. In the cold, when the cabin is not warmed up, something starts to tap and rattle in the glove compartment area, the interior warms up and everything is fine. The car is mainly for asphalt, the clearance is 16 cm and large overhangs, it is not worth going to the forest for mushrooms or to the river on bad roads. The lack of regular accessories, they simply do not exist, the car has a lot of all sorts of mounts for nets, curtains, etc. it's almost impossible to buy or order them. The stock wheels suck, bend at the slightest pits and start to make a terrible noise. Shumka is not very good, especially over 120 km, the arches are generally “atas” like tapping. The paint is scratched at once, by any awkward movement, although there are no chips. The DVD player does not read all formats.

After a few hundred kilometers, the noise began to appear again, you have to go again. I also noticed that the gears turn on poorly, especially problematic - the fourth speed (of course, maybe I'm finding fault, but this was not the case on the previous Hyundai Elantra car). Disappointed with the expense. Still, I thought that new engines are becoming more economical. While 8-9 on the highway, 11-12 in the city and this is a mechanic, with a quiet ride. Where are the declared 6.5? Salon and appearance - just fine. The only thing that upsets the driver is the not very comfortable seat, there is not enough lumbar adjustment. Pretty short armrest. Ludmila Ostapova, a product manager at Chevrolet Russia, characterizes the portrait of the main consumers of the Cruze Station Wagon in this way: men aged 42-43 years (give or take), who understand a lot about automotive practicality. At the same time, the expert says, these people are ready to talk to the machine in modern language. With regard to the Cruze Station Wagon, it is provided by the MyLink multimedia system. This is the trump card that Chevrolet is constantly flaunting today, emphasizing that competitors do not have such a system in their arsenal.

A lot has been said about MyLink, so there is practically nothing to add. At the moment, MyLink, unfortunately, is not friendly with navigation - it is not trained in Russian. However, this gap will be closed in the near future.

So far, the system is available only in the top version of the station wagon - LTZ ( from 782,000 rubles), but this is good, because the related sedan and hatchback do without it.

Briefly, I will only note that the “car” again liked its habits in terms of control, assembled suspension and the appropriate level of comfort, which, in addition to MyLink, provides leather trim. It, by the way, is made in a new for the model - brown version. I can say that this is quite a good design look at the interior. Besides, not easily soiled.


Behind, I repeat to what has already been said a year ago, it is spacious. During the current presentation, the managers of Chevrolet Russia turned out to be more substantive, noting that in the area of ​​​​the legs and shoulders, the Cruze Station Wagon will give odds to its Ford counterpart. It, I think, is not surprising, because the dimensions of our hero are one of the most respected in the class (4675x1788x1477 mm, wheelbase - 2685 mm). And the yard kid understands that this is an application for an older “D” segment.
