Restyling has fundamentally changed the appearance and technical parameters of the car, but only Americans will be able to enjoy the novelty: this model will not be supplied to the markets of other countries.

The photo shows that the American sedan began to look even more powerful than before, acquired a lot of decorative "chips", a more pronounced relief and aggressive features.

The front of the car seems just huge. The hood cover is only slightly inclined to the road, but it is not deprived of relief - first of all, it is worth noting a very large decrease in the center and longitudinal ribs along the edges.

At the top, the air intake is rather narrow and has a simple shape; its lower part resembles a trapezoid with a large number of horizontally oriented stripes. Mirrors became oval and slightly increased their usable area. But the glazing area, according to sensations, has decreased, but it has acquired a stylish chrome edging.

The back of the new model is distinguished by a whole scattering of sporting elements. Among them, it is worth highlighting a small but stylish aerodynamic protrusion located on the edge of the trunk. The lights are very large and have the appearance of a parallelogram. The bumper is quite unsophisticated and can only boast of brake light repeaters and interesting oval-shaped exhaust pipes.

Interior

Inside the new Chevrolet Malibu 2018 model year, everything looks no less presentable than outside. Finishing materials have remained at the same premium level and include only the best plastics, leather, metal and even a small amount of wood.

The chairs make an excellent impression: in the new Malibu they are trimmed with leather and have a good “stuffing” that allows you to overcome many kilometers without much stress. The front row is equipped with many adjustments, heating and ventilation, while the rear sofa boasts that it can comfortably accommodate three adult passengers.

Trunk volume is not too large, but it should be enough for shopping trips and short trips.

Specifications

There can be no claims from potential buyers of the Chevrolet Malibu 2018 regarding the technical equipment of the car. The simplest 1.5-liter engine easily develops 160 "horses" and is able to work with a 6-speed "automatic".
